Interested in living life on the sea? How about purchasing this tiny yacht that’s for sale!
It’s been recently remodeled, and right now it’s moored in Shelter Island Marina, in Richmond BC, and is 34 feet long. Take it away or stay in BC:
There is a waiting list for an available slip at Shelter Island BUT because the boat is already moored there, the new owner would bypass the waiting list and only have to apply to the marina office.
Moorage is charged according to length of the boat, this one runs around $500 a month. Liveaboard is more expensive but if you pay your moorage a year at a time it is much cheaper, probably $450. Each slip has a power hookup and separate breaker box and meter. Cable TV and Internet is available but up to the individual to hook it up themselves. There is a pump station for emptying the black water.
Dogs and cats are welcome.

This is a 200 sq. ft. off grid tiny house sent in by Andrew Cox.
Hey there, check out my 200 sq. ft. tiny house. It’s hidden in high desert of the Pacific Northwest and is 100% off the grid. Composting toilet, 12 volt power (totally wired and lighted throughout), propane & wood stoves. Easily sleeps 4 and totally set-up for the prepper. Completely over built and over insulated as the weather varies wildly between the negative teens and triple digits. Buttons up nicely for long term storage.

This man with a family of 4 (and 5th on the way) started his tiny house project in August of 2012 and finished it August 2013 while working part-time. He did all of the work himself and found much of the materials he used for the build on Craigslist.
By using salvaged materials, including a free travel trailer that he stripped down completely, he was able to finish the entire tiny home for less than $5,000. But it did take a lot of work in terms of labor.
Recently the family has given away their tiny house to a minister in New York and they are now preparing to buy a large 5th wheel travel trailer so they can travel the country together as a family. Please enjoy the videos below to learn more.
