This is The Ptarmigan, a single-level tiny home custom-built by Rewild Homes in British Columbia.

What’s unique about this THOW is that it’s just over 12 ft. wide, meaning you’d need a permit to transport it, but that you get a lot of width missing from “standard” size tiny homes. It was built for a retired senior who is moving her new home onto her daughter’s property, so having everything on one level was top priority. The extra width allows for an en-suite ground floor bedroom and bathroom and spacious living/dining “great room.” All the cabinetry and woodwork was custom-made for the house, which really ups the “character” factor. Get more details below and be sure to take the video tour with Exploring Alternatives at the end. Enjoy!

This is the Bunkhouse, a new 310 sq. ft. model from Uncharted Tiny Homes in Arizona that’s built on a 30 ft. gooseneck trailer.

This particular tiny home we built for one of our clients is being used as an RV. She opted for the gooseneck trailer instead of our standard bumper-pull and she didn’t need some of the features we normally include in our tiny homes. The cost of this tiny home exactly as you see it in these photos is around $90,000 with solar included but starts at $65,000 with our standard features. All of our models can be customized to fit your needs and lifestyle! The Bunkhouse is perfect for families as it has a master loft and a separate room for the kids!

According to their website, you can fit an 11. ft. sectional sofa in the living room — how cool! Enjoy the photo tour.

Wasted Time LLC is a tiny house company in Southern Louisiana that builds beautiful tiny homes with stunning interior (and exterior!) woodworking.

I use the term “hobbit” too much, but the sinker cypress inside this little home feels like it belongs in Middle Earth. This was a custom build, and at 12 feet wide, would require a permit to move it. That being said, the extra width allows for a super-spacious home with a downstairs bedroom, large living area and luxurious bath! Totally worth it.

Get more details about this specific model below. Enjoy the pictures!

This is Jadon and Katie’s Good and Tiny House that I first saw featured on Jenna’s Tiny House Giant Journey.

I included Jenna’s video tour of the house below the pictures, and I also got in touch with Jadon and Katie myself and asked them some questions about their tiny life and adorable tiny home.

Their house is completely custom, built by Canadian tiny house builder, Mint Tiny Homes. It has one of the most amazing bathroom/mudrooms I’ve ever seen in a tiny, and it includes a back-wall staircase which is one of the best ways to include stairs in a THOW in my opinion.

So tune out the world for a few minutes and enjoy the pictures, video tour and interview below!

Here’s your chance to help the homeless and get your own Jay Shafer/Four Lights Tiny House Company plans for just $250.

Shafer and affordable housing advocate, River King, have teamed up to build a 5-to-6 home community for the homeless in Sonoma County, California. Along with the houses, Shafer and King will create a common area and garden where children can play safely.

They are looking for $100,000 to complete the project, and in order to raise the funds, Four Lights is offering any of its designs for a tax-deductible donation of $250. This is really a win-win if you like Shafer’s designs and you support his mission to provide affordable housing for those in need.

Check out the video about Tiny Houses for Humanity below, and head over here to donate (and get your blueprints!). To see Shafer’s plans, go to Four Lights Tiny House Company.

This is Tiny House Woman’s Tennessee Tiny Home that’s currently for sale in Townville, South Carolina.

It was built by Tennessee Tiny Homes (and is RVIA certified) for a family with two teenagers, and as such includes two lofts that could fit queen-sized beds and a downstairs bedroom that fits a full or queen. There’s also a living room, kitchen (with hook-ups for a propane stove/oven) and bathroom with an RV flush toilet and 36″ x 36″ shower.

The builder says to build it over with all its custom features would cost approximately $52,000. This album of photos was how it was decorated for HGTV. Some decor/furnishing changed.

The current owner is selling it for $40,000. Get all the details below and contact the seller via the contact form with offers and questions.
