When Danny and Katherine first learned about cob building, they were hooked! But they couldn’t jump right in due to a number of circumstances. Eventually, they were able to build a “trial” cob tiny home on her parents’ property, where they lived for a few years while saving and planning for their forever home on their own property which they own outright!

They’ve been in this 700-800 square foot cob dwelling now for a couple of years, and the lack of debt allows Katherine to stay home with her daughter. The house is absolutely stunning inside, with all kinds of details they spent a decade planning out “just right.” They even used all recycled windows to keep costs down and to be more sustainable.

Jenna at Tiny House Giant Journey did a great video tour with the couple which you can watch below, where you’ll even learn a bit about cob building. And if you really want to delve in, Danny and Katherine teach cob-building classes!

This is the final treehouse at Treehouse Utopia, which is also home to the Carousel, Bibliotheque, and Chapelle. The Chateau is the largest of the treehouses, and while it’s not exactly “tiny,” it’s remarkable!

There’s a 400 square foot deck with amazing views of the forest and river below, and inside you’ll climb a majestic spiral staircase on your way to the bedroom turret complete with a grand King bed.

Additionally you’ll find a cozy living room, breakfast nook with stained glass windows, and a bathroom complete with an acrylic clawfoot tub and walk-in shower. Enjoy the photo tour and book your stay at Treehouse Utopia.

We showed you the Chapelle and Bibliotheque at Treehouse Utopia in Texas, but here’s the Carousel! Like the others, it was designed and built by the treehouse geniuses at Nelson Treehouse and features the same fantastic craftsmanship.

They intentionally created two levels, to make it feel like the natural rise and fall of a carousel. Inside you’ll find a perfect adults-only getaway, with sleeping for two in a bed with a headboard created from a French carousel piece! There’s also a vintage carousel horse that’s been turned into a light fixture.

The two decks give you stunning treetop views where you can enjoy a drink or a meal. Book your stay at the Carousel here.

The Black Box Container Home is a modern 2-bedroom shipping container home in Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada, built by Honomobo.

Cathi and Trevor downsized from a 2,300-square-foot home to this smaller 704-square-foot space three years ago after their sons left home.

The couple then built a stick frame studio space with a glass garage door and connected it to the main house with a breezeway.

Karissa has been working remotely for four years, so when she sold her new car, she was able to purchase her Dodge Promaster van and hit the road just like she’d always dreamed!

With the help of a friend, she outfitted the interior with a hand-painted mural, kitchenette with IKEA cabinets, and plenty of room for all her surfboards. She chose a smaller van to make it easy to park anywhere, and says for one person (and her two large dogs), it’s just the right fit.

As long as she has wifi, she can keep up this lifestyle while it fits her, and it’s a real dream come true! Make sure to watch the full video tour with Tiny Home Tours below, and follow Karissa on Instagram.

It’s easy to look at vanlifers and skoolie conversions and get discouraged that you just don’t have the funds to get a large vehicle or the know-how to fix it up. Meg and Ben managed to get on the road spending only $400 on their renovation of an outdated travel trailer — and as long as it’s short enough, you can easily pull one like this with an SUV.

The end result is a bright and lovely home that they renovated in only a few weeks! Meg said they had little to no experience, but by the end they were able to rely on YouTube tutorials to sew chair covers, put up tile, and lay flooring — and you can do the same. They even painted the exterior a stunning blue color.

They’ve both loved escaping the corporate grind and getting closer to Ben’s indigenous roots. Watch their full tour with Tiny Home Tours below. You can follow Meg and Ben over at @blackwolfwanderers on Instagram.

Now here is some super tiny living! Captains Kate and Nate live aboard their Hunter 28.5, which feels quite similar to van-size on the inside.

While it has everything they need — a stove, galley, bathroom and sleeping quarters — it’s pretty snug! Just proof that you can live with less than you think, and enjoy the open water.

The couple were flipping sailboats they buy at auction in Florida, but now charter their boat to Alaskan vacationers. You can plan a charter experience with them here. Be sure to check out the video tour of their sailboat with Tiny Home Tours below.

It took a pandemic to make Julie’s dream of living tiny a reality, but now she and her four special needs rescue dogs live in her 2018 Gulfstream Vintage Cruiser, and her second redone vintage trailer that’s her yoga studio.

I love the idea of the second trailer, because it doesn’t need electricity or plumbing, but gives you room to really stretch and relax that’s missing in many littler tinies and RVs.

Enjoy the awesome video tour and interview with Julie done by Tiny Homes Tours below! Let us know what you think in the comments.

When an engineer with a love of boating approached Minimaliste to create a custom Noyer for him, he had a lot of ideas regarding what he wanted, and the end result is a gorgeous top-of-the-line tiny with all the amenities.

Trash compactor? Check. Washer AND dryer? Check. “Smart” toilet? Check. You’ll also find a dishwasher, 7 foot-long drawers, and one of the niftiest showers ever in this 10×32 tiny house on wheels.

While not all of us would need the extras in this home (I’m not sure I even want a remote-control toilet), it’s cool to see a design that makes it all happen! Check out the video tour from Minimaliste below.
