This is the model house for Tiny Lofts, a new tiny house builder in Germany with an eco-friendly design for a modular tiny house sans wheels.

The sleek, modern house has a minimalistic Nordic feel on the exterior. Still, many exterior and interior finishes can be selected from a catalog and customized to suit your tastes. At about 323 square feet, the home includes a compact kitchen, a spacious open floor plan for the living space, and a super-luxurious bathroom with a full soaking tub in front of a whole-wall window.

Larry contacted us to show us his gorgeous creation, the Casa Maria. He built this vacation home about four years ago in Costa Rica for less than $60,000.

Including the loft space, the home comes to 764 square feet. It’s built out of cypress wood and has asphalt roofing. Underneath the neatly curved roofline of the house are a carport and laundry room. The main living space is wide-open with couches, a fireplace, kitchenette, and pool table. There’s a bedroom and a bathroom, as well. Enjoy the photo tour of Larry’s wonderful small home!

Looking for the perfect, cozy place to stay this winter? This Ottawa Cabin on the Bay couldn’t get much better with its wood-burning stove and secluded location.

Despite being tucked in a private spot in the woods, it’s nearby to all the amenities you could need. It is off-grid, but solar power keeps the lights on and allows you to charge a phone. There’s no running water, but an outhouse gives you a place to go. Inside you’ll find a small kitchenette for making coffee and maybe some pancakes, and up the ladder is the cozy loft bedroom. You can book a stay on Airbnb or follow the cabin on Instagram.

This gorgeous tiny house on wheels is named The Archway after the beautiful arch that tops the downstairs bedroom in this little house that’s just perfect for one person!

There is a loft in this tiny, but it’s for storage. It sits over the 3/4 bath that has a shower, toilet and gorgeous ornate vanity. It’s the stunning distressed turquoise cabinets that really make the place, though! The pop of color contrasts well with the creamy white shiplap walls.

Have questions? The builder, Tiny Heirloom, has this great FAQ sheet to help answer them for you!

Charlotte and Ken wanted to hit the road, so they purchased a 14-year-old box truck and transformed it into their home on wheels! They got in touch with us to share their story, which you can read after the photo tour of their home.

What I love about this conversion is that they did it on a budget, and included a Murphy bed system that transforms their living room into a bedroom at night. They also have a spacious kitchen, complete with an oven and stove.

Plus, their build has a shower and a composting toilet, so they never need to stop at the gym to get clean (or pee outside). Hope you enjoy the photos and their 30-second video tour below. Follow them on Instagram @offthemainroad_.
