The Kokomo van went on just one expedition before the owners got a difficult medical diagnosis and now need to sell it. Nearly brand new, it was professionally built by Boho.Life. The buyer can pick it up in Sebastopol, California.
The van has both a fixed bed and a dinette with seating for two. A table rolls out from under the bed when needed. The interior and cabinets are all a beautiful red cedar, and there’s a built-in two-burner propane stove, hidden potty and an outdoor shower.

Geodesic domes are such a fun architectural design, and this beautiful one in Michigan is no different. Located at Silver Birch Resort, the number of trees will make you feel like you’re the only one in the area. The dome itself houses a handcrafted bed and a living room space, while the next-door tiny house has a kitchen and full bathroom.
The massive deck connects the two structures, and there’s an outdoor soaking tub with a privacy fence. A fire pit and hammock finish off the fun vacation spot. Would you ever live in a dome home?

Sherry and Andres wanted a way to travel down to Costa Rica to Sherry’s home and family there, so they renovated a 1991 Toyota Dolphin to meet their needs. Lockdown ended up halting their plans for international travel, so they traveled domestically for a while instead!
Their rig has a memory foam mattress above the cab, and a dinette that becomes a second bed for guests and can sit up to four for dinner. Sherry was reluctant to try vanlife without a shower, so they have a nice bathroom in the back of the rig. What do you think?

Megan and Lee were moving from California back to the Midwest, considering buying some land and buying a house, when they realized they weren’t ready to settle down yet. They decided to build a Ford Transit and create their own home on wheels for a while.
Lee had family connections to a mill in Pennsylvania and selected all the lumber in the van from a couple of trees, which they planed and treated, becoming the interior of their rig. The result is a unique rustic feel that’s perfect for this couple.

The eVista is ESCAPE’s compact all-electric model, and its defining feature is what it leaves out: there is no loft. Everything happens on one floor, with a built-in bed area backed by generous upper storage, a compact kitchen, and a bathroom that’s larger than the footprint would suggest.
This particular unit was loaded well past the base spec. It carried a tall fridge/freezer, an induction cooktop with hood, an upgraded 50-amp power system, custom flip tables, and butcher block counters, plus Smartside siding with a 15-year warranty. The bathroom took a full-size shower, and the build included plenty of opening windows, a high-efficiency A/C heat pump, window coverings, USB outlets, and a Smart TV. Being all-electric, there’s no propane to plumb, tank, or inspect.
Editor’s note: this upgraded eVista was discounted to $49.9K in early 2023 and has sold. The eVista remains in ESCAPE’s lineup — see current listings below.

Jack and Jon were staring down more than $100,000 in student loan debt when they decided that a conventional mortgage wasn’t the answer — so they had a 30-foot gooseneck tiny house professionally built instead, nicknamed it the “Wee Hive,” and parked it at the Acony Bell Tiny Home Community in North Carolina. At roughly 240 square feet, it still makes room for a dedicated work-from-home office, a full bathroom with a tub, and a main-floor gooseneck bedroom with eight feet of headroom, and the drop in monthly housing costs is what lets them attack that debt in a fraction of the usual time. Enjoy the tour below.
