The OneLessDesk by Heckler Design is a minimalist stackable desk that expands when needed and compresses into a compact footprint when not in use. This space-saving design works well for tiny houses, small apartments, or any room where the office needs to disappear.

Very nice. If you can live without the curves, it’s very doable as a wood DIY project.
Thanks Alex and Davidrc!
But Davidrc, can you really think you could live without the curves?
Sure. There are techniques for plywood bending but I don’t know them. I could do it in metal, not tooled for it. Working with what I have and know.
I knew your were ragging, difficult to put put tones in these things. Still in the plotting and planning stage so it’ll be awhile. And yes, I’d noted the bends and the stiffening brace, as I’ve noted in other comments, here and there, if I can see a thing I can build a reasonable version of it. Though the first one may not be the prettiest ever seen.
Davidrc, I was just teasing you. I’d like to see the results of your DIY. Perhaps a routed 3/4″ radius on the corners. I recommend some steel brackets underneath to support the corners as this design can put a lot of leverage on the corners, hence the large radius and steel brackets in OneLessDesk’s design.
