1988 DeFever 44 Trawler Sea Y’All 2

When these empty nesters moved from Texas to California, they never imagined they’d choose full-time life on the water! But they discovered that purchasing a boat home was far more affordable than they’d originally thought, and they are now celebrating 5 years of marina life.

After two years in a smaller boat, they upgraded to 1988 DeFever 44 Trawler. It has a large main bedroom, a forward berth for guests, and two heads. In their kitchen (galley) you’ll find a bunch of adorable red retro appliances which they use to cook and entertain their friends.

And their decks, of course, provide an awesome place to enjoy the sunny San Diego weather. Watch their tour below!

Former Lead THOW Carpenter Builds His Own $16K Tiny House 3

After spending a few years as the lead carpenter at Rocky Mountain Tiny Houses in Colorado, Jacob used everything he learned to build not one but two of his own tiny homes. He sold the first and used the money to create a second — a better, more spacious build that cost him just $16,000 in materials. He now parks it at a tiny community in Durango for about $500 a month.

This Kid Created – And Manages – His Own ‘Dream Treehouse’ Airbnb 13

For 9-year-old Eli, his “dream treehouse” began as a piece of plywood where he could shoot Nerf guns from. Now, it’s an Airbnb where he and his mom raise money for charity.

When Eli told his mom he wanted a treehouse, she used it as a learning opportunity: She invested $200 into his business of selling glitter bombs and other fun trinkets at a local store. For three years he worked at his business and asked for no presents for Christmas or birthdays — he wanted 2x4s or money to go toward his treehouse! He paid back his mom and invested $6,000 into his Airbnb.

Now Eli’s dream is a reality, and he actually manages the Airbnb, helping with clean-up, greeting guests, and making sure the place is ready for the next vacationers. Check out his masterpiece below!

1987 Toyota Winnebago Completely Rebuilt 6

Now this is a fun renovation! According to the builder, they stripped this 1987 Winnebago down to the truck frame and rebuilt the entire camper. While he was able to salvage some of the original appliances, everything else is new.

And that comes with benefits! Firstly, no mold. Secondly, he used low-or-no VOC materials to make this a low-toxin environment for the new owners.

There’s an over-cab bed, and a dinette that can sleep one or two. Check it out below! It’s for sale here.
