Thought it nice on the outside but inside… eeeek! Not to my taste at all. Just knotty timber everywhere. If it were done with knotty timber on the floor and different on the walls I would probably like it. But there’s no accounting for my taste. 😆
I’m chuckling to myself a little because the previous comment said they liked the bright green and gold exterior better than the all wood interior with dark green trim. I feel exactly the opposite. I have never liked green and gold together and I found the all wood interior to give my eyes a rest. And perhaps the issue wasn’t as much that it was all wood for the other commenter but that it was knotty pine. And maybe they would feel differently if there were other elements of white and colors in the decorations. I suppose if one were only going to visit, one could put up with all of that and if someone was to live there permanently, making a few changes would be in order. Anyway, I was pleasantly surprised when I saw that the inside was relatively spacious compared to what I thought it would be. That leaves just one thing that is a big issue…the outhouse. I can accept off kilter colors or wood that I don’t like as long as there is indoor plumbing! Toddling out there in the middle of the night in who knows what kind of weather or whatever creatures might be wandering about would make me reject this little place without hesitation. And I know there are plenty of people that are not bothered with having that little adventure in the middle of the night and kudos to them. Overall I thought this was well done as a rustic destination and I’m sure they will have plenty of visitors, which is a very good thing! They will have a good visit, I’m sure.
I do love this tiny house both inside and out , Its very well done ! Only thing I would grumble about is the steep ladder to the sleeping loft . Some sort of stairs would be nicer for those of us closer to 70 than to 2o. As far as those midnight runs are concerned, I would bring a small porta potty like I have in my truck camper.
