It never ceases to amaze me how much more spacious a 10-foot-wide tiny house is in comparison to the 8-foot-wide standard size. You can really see that in this 31-foot-long gooseneck tiny home from MitchCraft!
This tiny home has it all — a super comfy built-in sectional couch with tons of storage, a U-shaped kitchen complete with a drawer dishwasher, and a bathroom with a huge stock tank soaking tub. Head up the steps to the gooseneck bedroom where there’s standing room next to a stacked washer and dryer, a big built-in closet, and a comfy bed.

Wow! What a lot of boxes this checks! This has the first truly comfortable built-in sofa I have ever seen in a tiny. And a wealth of storage, especially for clothes. And so light and airy. The only thing missing from my wish list is a small wood-burning stove.
I love the 10′ Mitchcraft Tiny Home on wheels. I would make 2 suggestions: 1) walk-in shower with safety bars and shower chair and 2) safety features including handrail on steps into home. This is for seniors over 65.
I meant 31′ home.☺
They’re a custom builder, so they’ll do whatever the client wants. People have ordered walk-ins before… The exterior steps are only temporary, though, as they were just staging it before delivery to the owner. The owner will likely have a deck there, etc. after delivery…
Is there someone who builds this tiny home close to Longview Tx?
This builder, Mitchcraft Tiny Homes, is in Fort Collins, CO, and this is specific to them but they can deliver to anywhere in the country. An equivalent level builder, who can build something similar, that is in Texas is Indigo River Tiny Homes (Dallas, TX).
While American Tiny House LLC, is one you can check out in 5805 East US Hwy 80 Longview TX 75605… (903) 930-8500… “americantinyhouse” will get you their website and gmail…
This is a fabulous Tiny! I love the aesthetics and materials used. I agree with another comment that the cushions on that built-in sofa are the best I’ve seen! Nice and thick so you get the feel of a regular sofa. I am puzzled why they didn’t put cushions all the way to the end instead of having some of the wood platform showing. Perhaps to be used as a built-in side table but for me, the length of the sofa area would be more important. Personal preference. Speaking of the built-in sofa, I wonder if that bit of wall that sticks out into that corner could be eliminated so you could have a regular sectional there. Though those cushions are generous, a sectional would be even better and it would provide for additional sleeping area. Even if you don’t have many guests, it would be an ideal napping corner! 😉 I love the idea of a soaking tub and those stock tanks are nice and deep, for sure. Another comment suggested a walk-in shower…I would think a walk-in tub would also be possible…and for those who would find it difficult getting in and out of that extra tall tub, it would be safer even if not quite as good a soaking experience. I would imagine that is optional when ordering your own build, of course. I am impressed with the amount of storage! Those closets! The open shelves in the kitchen are attractive and I love the grain of the wood but they could have been a bit wider so plates didn’t hang over the edge. I’m sure there was some logic in making that width and they would be quite useful for smaller things like cups and glasses but just a couple of more inches would change how useful they were for dishes. I think those few changes to satisfy my own personal preferences are minor and even without them, this is a lovely and very livable Tiny Home. Kudos to the designers!
