Nate and Maud might be one of the most adorable couples we’ve seen before! After meeting in Thailand just before the world shut down and then getting married so they could stay together, the couple chose to build out a van and hit the road with their full-time remote jobs. And they have no intentions of ever quitting #vanlife!
Their rig is almost entirely white on the inside, including a custom whitewashed tongue-in-groove ceiling. They have “long-ways” bed setup so they can stretch out (they’re both over 5’10”), and even a hide-away shower they pull out for 5 to 10 minutes a day. What’s your favorite part?

I don’t know that I’ve ever heard of a vanlife couple who spent as much time and forethought regarding making the move into a vehicle! They spent a full year plotting and planning and discussing all the things that could go wrong in order to prepare themselves. Now that they’ve been living tiny for over a year, they consider their van a “sanctuary” no matter where they go!
The result? An awesome van that perfectly suits their stealthy needs — Becky can take the van to work as a travel nurse and park at the hospital, and Drew works from the van (or a co-working space) as a digital nomad. Their bed design is a brilliant middle ground between “take it all apart” and permanent.

Lefty is a thyroid cancer survivor on the trip of his life visiting all the national parks! He rock climbs, bikes, and camps out in each park until he’s seen it all, and then he moves on to the next location. When he’s done with all the physical exertion of his day, he crawls into his super comfy fixed bed and calls it a night.
He has a cool outdoor shower set-up and a composting toilet box that doubles as his swivel chair footrest. But one of his special upgrades to the Ram ProMaster was the custom bug netting that he installed. While it’s not cheap, he said it’s one of the better investments he made for van life. Enjoy the tour!

Lauren had been dreaming of #vanlife for awhile, but thought it would never happen. But when lockdown hit, she got her chance. She managed to convince her dad to help her build out the interior of her Ford Transit while she was living at home.
They did an absolutely amazing job! The inside is a lovely blend of turquoise blue & white finishes, and the tin roof is such a nice touch. She now travels with her boyfriend around the East Coast.

Candyss was used to her life being defined by her military and police force obligations, so when she decided to transition out of that career, she had to find what freedom meant for her.
That led her to van life! She started traveling during the pandemic and now is on the road full-time. She didn’t bother with a huge kitchen because she doesn’t cook, and instead she made space for the things she wants (her clothes, beauty products and awesome giant plant). But she was honest — it took about 5 months before she really felt like her vehicle was “home,” and it’s harder to live in your car than you’d think!

Right now she has a full-time job (with an onsite shower) and stays parked in one spot most of the time, but she’s hoping to hit the road at some point and explore all Canada has to offer.
