This is “The Wedge” built by students at Laney College in Oakland, CA for the SMUD Net Zero Tiny House Competition.
The futuristic home won four awards in 2016, including best design — and I can see why. Their creative tilted back wall creates space for a second loft and comfortable living area. Gotta love something different!

This is the stunning Mohican Tiny House by Modern Tiny Living, the builder’s model home that’s for sale at a discount in Columbus, Ohio. Update: This has now been sold, but you can still look at it below. 🙂
The house includes cream-painted poplar interior siding that contrasts with beautiful brown maple accents — one of my favorite color schemes. It has a loft bedroom, a spacious living area with built-in shelving (and a real, comfy couch!), a galley kitchen, and bathroom with an awesome sliding barn door for easy access. Have questions? This is Raw Design Creative’s Homestead Tiny House on Wheels — with two folding decks!
This build includes one of the most interesting bed/living/loft situations I’ve seen. On the ground floor you have a queen bed, and then above it sits a lounge area which features a couch that doubles as a twin guest bed. There’s even another storage loft over the bathroom.
