Just like this Scottish cow-shed we showed you a couple of weeks ago, this 200-year-old cottage in the UK has been completely renovated, and the results are absolutely stunning. You’d never know you were inside a historic building except for the beautifully preserved cast iron kitchen they framed off in the living room.

Even though the cottage is contemporary, it’s far from sterile. The warm wood tones and stone features make it cozy and interesting. Up the stairs, you’ll find a grand bedroom with a Super King bed, a soaking tub, a glass shower, and a separate private toilet room. What do you think of this design?

There are few things as quaint and cozy as stone, and that proves true in this tiny stone cottage affixed to the Pony Barn Bar & Restaurant on a 120-acre heritage breed farm.

The little vacation spot features a studio-style set up, with a queen bed on one side, and a kitchenette with pasture views on the other. Down a small hallway there’s a wet bathroom and linen closet.

While it’s perfect in any season, something tells me this spot in West Sand Lake, New York is particularly magical when the snow falls! You can book your stay at Airbnb.
