This one of a kind 688 sq. ft. transforming apartment is located in the Bastille district of Paris called the Bastille St. Nicolas Loft.

It has two bedrooms, one bathroom and can sleep up to four people comfortably.

Inside you’ll find hidden storage areas, sliding walls, raised wooden floors, and more.

An office area is available by pulling out part of a wall which gives you a functional desk.

This small apartment is available for sale as I write this for an asking price of 650,000 euros. It’s also currently available as a vacation rental. Please enjoy, learn more, and re-share below.

Right now I’m excited to share this incredible 400 sq. ft. small apartment with you designed and built by a man named Joseph Chiarucci.

When you walk in, you immediately know that this is a one-of-a-kind custom designed and built apartment. The kitchen is near the entrance. Look up and there is shelving throughout.

When you turn to the left you can see your living area and corner office. Continue walking this way and you can head to the upstairs level where you’ll find the bathroom and bedroom along with a couple of nooks you can hang out in and/or store some of your belongings in.

Hi Alex (and Tiny House Newsletter readers), my small apartment is not so tiny at 792 sq. ft. but when you consider that it has 3 ensuite bedrooms with private bathrooms for each (2 with a king bed, 1 with a queen and each with their own closet) it shows a clever use of this limited space.

The location of the building built in 1926, right in front of a sandy beach on the riviera between nice and cannes makes it a truly special place.

I am selling my place because I must relocate and I have a website: www.thebestapartmentofjuanlespins.com. The asking price is 750,000.00 euros which is $1,050,000 in USD.

I thought you might also like this tiny Paris apartment that was renovated using CNC milled plywood.

The design was created by Coudamy Architects then the plywood was cut using CNC machines and then put together in the house. Pretty interesting, isn’t it?

Take a look at what the apartment looks like inside and then watch the entire video tour and interview with the dweller below.

The thirty tiny apartments at 18 West Hastings Street are ideally located for young professionals who otherwise couldn’t afford to live downtown in notoriously expensive Vancouver, Canada. On the flipside, this new residential complex is located in a downtown neighborhood known for low incomes and high crime rates.

The Burns Block building that now offers micro lofts measuring less than 300 square feet used to provide cheap housing as a single room occupancy hotel. The new complex offers compact, high-end apartments for the up and coming but is it at the expense of the down and out?

When the building opened on December 19, the designers revealed the transformation from sketchy hotel to high-end housing complex. Politicians and supporters of the project cite it as part of Vancouver’s affordable housing strategy and claim creating mixed income neighborhoods is the best way to improve the area.

Small house pictures always motivate me in some way to simplify my life even more. Especially when I find one of those houses that seem to have achieved a sort of perfection.

Since you’re here, I’m sure you like them too. And you’re probably thinking about different ways to downsize.

Well I know you’ll love these links if you’re…

  • looking for interior design ideas
  • just browsing for fun/entertainment
  • trying to see what living small is like
  • looking for inspiration to build your own
  • thinking about simplifying your life even more

Enjoy… Just click on any of the pictures or on the house name if you want to see and learn more about it. All the links will keep you here at Tiny House Talk but they will open in a new window/tab so you can click on the rest. Which is your favorite?

I like the 320 square foot garage conversion the best… Or the dome cabin it’s a hard choice! The 400 SF 20k house would be great if you could add more windows and update the interior, but it was obviously made on a budget.
