This is Trinity, a tiny house by Alabama Tiny Homes.

She is 28 feet long, 13’4′ tall and 8’5″ wide and features the very popular white-on-dark wood color scheme we keep seeing more of (and keep loving!). But the best and most unique feature of this home is that the staircase is along the back wall of the house. How have we not seen this before? Great idea.

This is a guest post from Gretchen Chingris about the grand opening event for 305 Microlofts at Commoncove.

Below is the press release about the newest micro lofts to come to the Chelsea, MA area.

Boston-area developer Kevin Saba, co-founder of Commoncove, one of the Boston area’s first co-work spaces, today announced the Grand Opening of 305 Microlofts at Commoncove, a new residential development overlooking the Admiral’s Hill Marina on the Chelsea waterfront, a stone’s throw from the Mystic Brewery, featuring nine (9) new construction microloft apartments for sale with prices starting at $200,000. The Grand Opening will begin with a public open house and barbecue event on Friday, September 11, 2015 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and will continue throughout the weekend with open house events Saturday, September 12th and Sunday, September 13th from 12:00 noon to 3:00 PM both days.

305 Microlofts at Commoncove is located right above the Commoncove co-work space which launched in 2013 at Chelsea’s Admiral’s Hill Marina to offer mobile knowledge workers affordable shared workspace. Each of the nine (9) units features flexible-space living area and high end, though sensible finishes, including a full kitchen with custom-sized stainless 4-burner range with oven, dishwasher, and Fisher & Paykel refridgerator, granite countertops, wide plank floors, and built-ins. Each apartment has air conditioning, outdoor deck space and parking.

“305 Microlofts at Commoncove is an idea whose time has come — an exciting next step in the development of a larger concept built around the sharing economy,” Saba said. “Combining co-work space and high quality modest-sized living space at one location not only enhances the value of each, it introduces something new and unique that many people want and need.”

Please enjoy, learn more and re-share below. Thank you!

Do you think living simply could be easy with this tiny house? Although it’s only 100 square feet it has just about everything you need.

In this post I’m excited to share the Hummingbird Loft with you. It’s a 100 sq. ft.tiny house with a sleeping & storage loft made of steel-frame and it’s built on a foundation (not on wheels).

When you walk up the porch and through the front door into the main level you’re greeted by the living room and kitchen.

Keep walking towards the back and you’ll find the bathroom. The ladder takes you up to the sleeping loft and storage area. One of the sleeping lofts is above the front porch, the storage loft is over the living area, and the other sleeping loft is in the rear above the kitchen/bathroom area.

Ready to get the full tour including floor plan and all? I hope you’ll enjoy below.

I thought you’d like to tour Susan’s 423 sq. ft. tiny cottage studio with an upstairs loft.

It’s in the East Bay area of California. When you walk inside there’s a ground floor area with a living room, bathroom, and plenty of open space for a kitchenette if you wanted to add one.

When you go upstairs there’s a spacious loft bedroom area. In total, there’s one bedroom and one bathroom. Susan, the owner, uses the space in many ways. She’s quite flexible with it, in fact, as you’ll learn below.

It’s not tiny. It’s not micro. But, it’s just right in my opinion. I’m talking about this modern loft apartment I found on Archello.

I really love the modern style of loft apartments. So naturally when I saw this one I knew I must share. Because sharing is caring right?

There is no real story I could find to go with these pictures except that an architect conceptualized this project into what you see below.

They maximized the use of space by having a guest bathroom downstairs, adding storage under the stairs, a soft bed in the living area and sleeping loft with another bathroom upstairs.

I’m not sure on the exact square footage but if I had to guess it would be around 700 sq ft?

Take a look below and let me know what you think.
