Chris & Michelle bought this former fire department ambulance so they could use it to travel during the summers, but after their first tours with it, they decided to jump into “ambulance life” full-time! Michelle quit her job as a teacher, Chris works remotely, and they rent out the house they own.

What you’ll see below is actually the second build-out they’ve done of the ambulance — the initial build was much simpler and cheaper, but once they moved in full-time they gutted it again and redid the inside to meet their full-time needs.

Enjoy the video tour from Tiny Home Tours below, and be sure to follow the couple’s adventures on Instagram here.

Sophie is just about as cool as they get. Not only did she climb Mt. Everest in 2019, she now travels solo while working full-time in her awesome van named Sage.

She happened upon the van on Craigslist and after getting decent vibes from the seller, wired $1k to have him hold it for her (not necessarily recommended by us but, hey, it worked out!). The interior has all kinds of special knickknacks she has found on her travels, including an awesome collection of feathers.

You can see her full tour where she talks about the safety/risks of being a woman on the road below, and follow her on Instagram here.

Cody and Christina love living in their 2018 Sprinter, which they named the Desert Cruiser. Their interview with Tiny Home Tours is extra special because they spend a few minutes discussing how perfect vanlife fits with their relationship: They haven’t spent a night apart in four years, and that’s the way they like it!

But in terms of the vehicle nuts and bolts, they have some great features including a 4-foot-wide sliding bike rack that makes storing and using their mountain bikes incredibly easy! And yes, there’s a toilet hidden in this build.

Follow their adventures on Instagram after checking out the video tour below.

This is a shuttle bus turned overland camper! It has lots of unique features like a 4×4 conversion, a shower with technology that can filter and reuse water (pretty useful when you’re off-grid, boondocking), a queen-sized bed with storage, and more.

It’s listed over at Conversion Trader for $70,000 out of Le Center, Minnesota and you can learn more about it below. There are only 1200 miles on the 4WD system according to the listing. What do you think?

Chris and Jolene have three preteen boys, and the family used to do the typical suburban rat race of tons of sports and activities, work 9 to 5, and a zombie-like existence trying to afford a 3,000 square foot cookie-cutter home.

Then, about two years ago, Chris sold his company and the family searched for the perfect boat to begin their life on the water. Now they enjoy travelling to islands in the Caribbean, “boatschooling,” and experiencing all the chaos and wonders of boat life!

Jolene shared some wonderful reflections on why they went tiny in our Q&A with her, so be sure to read more below and take the video tour of their houseboat. You can follow the family on Instagram here.

The Gallaway Tiny House on Wheels — built by Modern Tiny Living — is 28 feet of gorgeous craftsmanship. There’s a tiny porch that leads into a rarely-seen-in-THOWs mudroom, where you can hang up your coat and put away your shoes.

Part of the kitchen is a breakfast nook with huge windows to let in the morning sun. While the color scheme is bright and white, the deep teal cabinets add a pop of color. Conjoined staircases (with oodles of storage) take you up to each loft, and a catwalk (complete with cat door) connect the lofts.

In the bathroom you’ll find a washer/dryer unit, toilet and shower. Enjoy the photo and video tours below, and contact the builder here to get one of your very own!
