This amazing flip-open A-frame cabana in Brazil looks like it was built using Deek Diedrickson’s $1,200 a-frame plans, and the results are amazing.
What I particularly love is that this little vacation cabana includes a bathroom, and has a two-tier deck overlooking a little natural paradise. They even included a Murphy bed so you can enjoy the interior space when not asleep.
Cook, wash up and relax! Even if you never make it to Brazil, you could definitely DIY something like this in your backyard.

I love Matt & Casandra’s story because it just goes to show you how addicting the tiny lifestyle can be. The couple took on this shuttle bus conversion project as a project to keep them busy during the lockdown. Matt specifically said they would never live in it full-time or sell their home: It was just for vacations.
But after about a month into their first adventure, Matt changed his mind. Both of them (@runaway.ladymay/Instagram) have jobs they can do remotely, so besides building out the skoolie and downsizing, it was an easy transition into the bus.

This model has a bright and open main floor with lots of windows and beautiful shiplap walls. All the open space on the first floor can be used as a bedroom or living room. We could even add in a murphy bed. There’s plenty of room to hang and store items in the built in cupboards under the stairs. The stairs lead to a large loft that can fit a queen size bed with room to spare.
The kitchen has beautiful butcher block countertops, a large sink, and lots of storage. There’s an oven, stove, 10 cu ft fridge, and microwave.
The bathroom includes a neatly tiled shower, toilet, washer/dryer hookups, and large vanity.

Based in Palm Springs, California, the company specialized in crafting functional, stylish, and eco-friendly tiny homes that inspired people to embrace minimalist living.
