Jennifer was living with her two teenage sons when she first saw tiny homes on TV. She really wanted one of her own, but wanted to wait until the boys were off to college to get started. So she made a 5-year plan and three months ago moved into her adorable THOW called “The Hairy Respite.”
She lives in her house, custom-designed by Uncharted Tiny Homes in Arizona, with her three dogs. Every part of her home was thoughtfully planned out, from her large living area with a comfy daybed, to her downstairs bedroom with 8 feet of closet space, to her bathroom with a single unit washer and dryer and a doggie door.
Enjoy the detailed tour with Tiny Home Tours below, and follow Jennifer’s journey here.

Corey & Shauna have been a couple since they were 15-year-olds in Wisconsin. They’d spent a lot of time in Nashville, when they got job offers to move them to Oregon. The thought of moving all their stuff stressed them out, and before they knew it Google had led them to #vanlife.
That said, they purchased the van just before COVID hit, leaving them suddenly jobless after selling most of their possessions and subletting their Nashville apartment. So they went back home, built out their van, and then hit the road despite the “gasoline” poured over their previous plans.
The result is a lovely Promaster conversion, and Shauna said van life has helped her face and conquer many fears she didn’t even realize were controlling her life. Watch the full tour with Tiny Home Tours below.

This is a Ford Transit van build with 4 seats and two beds by Rocky Mountain Campers.
It’s not everyday that you see a van conversion like this that’s ready for you and your crew. It has proper seating for four, including a legal place for a car-seat, and not one but two queen beds. What do you think?

This is an awesome little THOW with a Nordic feel that would make a great home for one or two people, or also a nice Airbnb in the backyard.
It has no loft, but rather uses the main area as both bedroom and living space. Then there’s a small kitchen with hook-ups for a fridge, and also a bathroom which includes a mini tub.
The whole thing feels sleek and minimalist, and it’s selling in Tennessee for $34,500.

When Johnny thought he was getting a new Navy position that would have him deploying more frequently, he chose to rent out his home and purchase a 1981 CHB Ed Monk Trawler to use as his home base wherever he went (rather than paying rent in a number of cities).
The Navy ended up cancelling that job altogether, but Johnny kept the boat and now he teaches other Navy sailors to drive boats, continues to rent out his home, and lives full-time on his trawler. We actually showed you his buddy’s trawler some months ago, and the two of them enjoy hanging out in the water around San Diego.

Here’s the Dois, another awesome cabin design that’s great for it’s relatively compact footprint. It packs in a full 800 square feet of living space, though, by going up to a second floor (with a staircase and full ceiling height!).
Dois has two bedrooms on that second floor, and also a downstairs and upstairs bathroom for those middle-of-the-night bathroom runs.

We just got some new pictures of the N1 Model from Escape, and had to show you this amazing build again!
They created this sleek single-floor home as a one-of-a-kind project for their tiny house village, but because of the overwhelmingly positive response they received, they’re going to develop a smaller version to become one of their production models. Exciting news.
Enjoy the new photos (including a floor plan), and watch the video tour at the end of the post, too.
