You’ll feel like you’ve gone back in time with a stay in this early-1900s Vermont cabin. It’s an off-grid experience, complete with a cozy wood-burning stove to heat water and keep the spot warm. There’s also a propane stove on the premises.

It’s a one-room cabin with a loft bedroom accessible via a ladder. In the cooler months, you’ll need 4WD to get to the cabin because it’s set remotely among 1200 acres of beautiful forest. Plenty of hiking opportunities if you’re up for it! Take a look.

This is a ‘Rustic Cabin’ custom van conversion by Drifter Vans, a camper van builder out of Detroit, Michigan.

The van has a kitchen, bathroom, and plenty of lounging and storage space. From the outside, it looks like a cargo van with some extra windows and an awning, but when you go inside it looks and feels like a rustic cabin! A similar van to this would cost about $89,000 for the conversion alone (not including the van). Bring them your Sprinter, ProMaster, or Transit van and they can convert it to your liking! Take a look at what they did for clients Roger and Melissa below!

Singer-Songwriter Olivia Farabaugh (known from “The Voice” Season 10) and her husband have gone tiny! Their 12×30 foot home was built by Greenwood Tiny Homes and designed with low-VOC materials and air exchanges to help mitigate Olivia’s Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome.

They have a first-floor bedroom space but ultimately chose to put their bed in the loft and use the main-level room as a multi-purpose office/studio. Their u-shaped kitchen is stock-full of great storage and full-sized appliances (even a dishwasher!) and they have really awesome multi-use furniture in the living room.

From the outside, this looks like an ordinary retired FedEx delivery truck. Inside, it is a fully finished, cabin-like tiny house on wheels with wood-finished walls and ceiling, a locking security door between the cab and living space, and the kind of stealth factor that lets you park in plain sight without anyone looking twice. Built by John and toured by Jarrod Tocci on YouTube.

Houseboats aren’t exactly popular in Sweden, but when done, they are done well! This one sits on a special ice-resistant float so it can stay in the frozen water all year long.

It’s set up as a vacation spot and includes a huge sauna, comfortable bedroom, and a full kitchen and office space. Double-glazed windows provide beautiful views of the surrounding ocean area.
