The two things that were holding Michelle back from van life were her stuff and other people’s negative opinions. Once she got rid of those, she was able to jump into her van joyfully and after two years on the road her only regret is that she didn’t do it sooner!

She travels with her two dogs and made them a gate from paint sticks (love it)! She has a nice, deep sink, outdoor shower, indoor composting toilet, closet under her bench seat and a TV so she can play video games on rainy days. I love it and hope you will too!

This 240 square foot shed to house conversion is an awesome little home available right now for a great price! Seller is asking $23,400 (negotiable) and the home is complete (although it doesn’t come furnished).

It’s studio-style inside besides the bathroom, and right now it’s set up with a downstairs bedroom, kitchen and living space. The wood-burning stove is included, and the home is plumbed and has an upgraded electric system. Buyer is responsible to move, and it’s in Fairfield, Iowa.

What an awesome couple! Nate, Sheena, and their dog live together in a beautifully built-out short bus conversion. The two of them seem so genuine and sweet — I wish we could be friends! Their home has a pretty sky blue exterior, and the inside features a lot of wood tones.

They use a wood stove that sits on a tile hearth to keep themselves warm, and Sheena has convinced Nate to let them keep the large (but ugly) air conditioner for those *really* hot nights. They have a convertible table and a cedar-lined wet bath as well. Enjoy the tour!

When you’ve seen as many tiny homes as we have, it’s gotten difficult to surprise us — but wow, this “Maria” model from Berghaus really different in terms of the layout! You walk into the kitchen and bathroom area — all seems normal.

Then, you can step up into the living room. Again, not exactly novel. But wait, there’s more! Under the living room is a compact bedroom area, complete with built-in shelving. And then there’s a staircase up to yet another low-ceiling sleeping area with more storage. And don’t forget the secret access to hidden loft storage over the bathroom. You have to check out the pictures and video below!

This is a review of the Jackery 300 Solar Generator. The Solar Generator is essentially the Explorer 300 Portable Power Station plus a 100W SolarSaga Solar Panel which gives you the ability to generate emissions-free energy using the sun.

The power bank unit weighs just 7.1 lbs so it’s small, lightweight, portable, and it has a 293Wh capacity. It can recharge your phone 30 times, your laptop 4 times, and your drone around 5 times. For its size and weight, it’s pretty impressive and incredibly handy.

The launch of Jackery brand-new product kicks off at on 8pm PDT on #JackeryDay 5/12. Watch the live stream product release worldwide on Jackery official website and social media.

Wess had the travel bug as a young adult but chose parenthood first. When his boys were getting older, he decided to think about tiny living/travel again and that’s when he stumbled across the school bus that he bought to turn into a house (before they were really Instagram-popular). As a metalworker, he had the skills necessary to build a school bus just how he wanted — and he did!

He spent three years on the road traveling in his conversion before settling in Witchita where he does metalwork for other people’s rigs. His home includes an awesome collection of found-item artwork, a mosaic tub, and tons of beautiful woodworking. Enjoy the tour!

Today we’re excited to introduce the beautiful Eclipse Cottages — low-maintenance small homes built with SIP panels and packed with sustainable features like rainwater catchment and filtration, greywater reuse, and more. Each cottage offers a handful of layout options plus plenty of room to customize colors and finishes.

For now, these cottages are placed in one of Eclipse’s three tiny house villages in South Carolina, with plans to eventually build and ship them to the general public.

Did we say tiny house village? Yes! You can learn more about two communities currently taking residents — Palmetto Grove and Creek Walk — plus a third, Mountain Grove, still in production. Tell us what you think in the comments!
