Erdinc, a musician who wanted to build a roof deck on a skoolie and use it for performances, built out this amazing skoolie over 8 months for about $16,000. As it happens, life has changed, and he needs to sell the rig.

The conversion featured a beautiful wooden ceiling, a long countertop with room for a camp stove, an office set-up, solar power, and a fixed back bedroom. He hasn’t finished the bathroom area yet but has it marked out. It could be yours for $31,000! He’s currently near Austin.

Rich had the American Dream with a big house and grown kids — but when divorce hit, he needed to pivot after the grief. That’s when he decided to leave his job in corporate photography and gift family portraits to single moms in shelters or who have left domestic abuse situations.

Living in his renovated Canadian military vehicle allows him to keep his expenses low, so he can keep giving generously! What a remarkable life. Check out the interview below.

Bre & Destiny wanted to own something before turning 30, but a $500,000 home in the Portland area just wasn’t in the cards for them. That’s when they started looking into tiny homes and realized the $90K price tag was far more manageable.

At the moment, they spend about $2,000 a month on their loan and lot and will have it paid off the tiny home by December 2023. Since that’s about what they would have paid in rent, they think it’s worth it to own something at the end of the loan period. Enjoy the tour of their awesome house!

Lovell and Paris got into vanlife largely out of necessity — with nearly $50,000 in consumer debt, they needed a way out of it, and not paying rent was the first step! They started in a very basic low-roof van they already owned, but after paying off their debts in 2 years, were able to upgrade to their current Sprinter.

Six years into #vanlife, the couple say there are pretty much no cons to their lifestyle. Now that they have a rig that includes everything they love — even an ironing board, so Lovell can iron his “fashionista” wardrobe — they have no desire to get a sticks-and-bricks home.
