Sofia and Dennis started van life by converting their own to live in. However, once people saw it on YouTube, the couple received requests to start converting vans. Now, they own multiple shops on the West Coast where they and their teams build vans!

They are enjoying the full-time van life in their own luxury rig, a marvel of design and functionality. This van is a treasure trove of unique features, from quartz countertops’ elegance to an elevated fridge’s convenience, the luxury of a high-power mist shower head, and even a pull-out toilet. Get excited today for the story of how these brothers-in-law started a van conversion business in the United Kingdom,  and a photo tour of their latest bespoke creation designed for a tall dog-owner. Jorvik Van Conversions was born in the midst of lockdown, and they’ve been converting vans ever since.

The Sandy is their signature base design, which can be customized to meet the client’s needs. In this conversion, there’s a special dog crate area under the bed, as well as an extra long and wide bed to make it comfortable for the owner to sleep in. All Sandy models have a great L-shaped couch area in the front of the van, which can become a spare bed if needed. Be sure to read our Q&A with Jorvik Van Conversions after the pictures!

This is an excellent skid foundation tiny home that takes advantage of not being tied to the size of a trailer. At 14×24, it feels extra spacious inside, especially in the great room where the living room, dining space, and kitchen all combine.

The additional width also allows for a first-floor bedroom or office space. And the bathroom has plenty of elbow room! There is a large loft for storage, sleeping, or guests. All that, for $57.5K, is for sale now in Indiana.

Abi & Ethan are an adorable couple who were tired of spending so much money on rent. Abi had always dreamed of living tiny, but it took rising rent costs to convince Ethan it was a good idea. Once he agreed, they found a bus just two weeks later and started the process!

As students, they’ve kept the bus close to campus and enjoy not having a commute. Since the video was taken, they’ve gotten a job offer to move across the country — and they are having a baby any day now — so they plan to sell the bus once they settle in a new city.

When you have 34 feet and a full 10-foot width to work with on a gooseneck trailer, the design possibilities expand dramatically. This custom build by MitchCraft Tiny Homes (now Snake River Tiny Homes) for their client Clay demonstrates what happens when a builder takes full advantage of that extra square footage: a home that feels genuinely livable rather than cramped, with room for a full soaking tub, a U-shaped kitchen with a dishwasher, a walk-in closet in the gooseneck bedroom, and — the feature that makes this house truly one-of-a-kind — a dedicated cat loft accessible through a hidden cabinet door.

At 340 square feet on the main level plus the gooseneck loft bedroom, this THOW blurs the line between tiny house and small home. The design leans modern with sleek finishes, a striking contrast between white walls and dark ceilings, and bold blue accents that carry from the front door all the way through to the bathroom. It’s a build that proves tiny houses can be both stylish and genuinely pet-friendly.
