Chantal (from the Netherlands) and Lukas (from Switzerland) were dating long-distance and tired of being apart but didn’t know where to settle down. So they decided to ignore the question, convert an Opel Movano bus, and travel Europe! In the past two years, they’ve visited 24 countries and have big dreams to see more of the world from their van.
They call themselves a “traveling circus” with their ginger cat Ollie and newly adopted rescue dog Lefka along for the ride. Ollie rules the roost, but Lefka is finding a happy spot inside their little van. Enjoy their tour below and check out their van dreams at the end of the post!

Lindsey grew up as a farm kid and loved the outdoors, so it’s no surprise that after living an everyday young professional life in Chicago and NYC, she decided to simplify and live on the road. A few years in, she started looking for a better rig and came across the Overland Explorer X10 EarthRoamer in its prototype stage.
This amazing 4×4 truck camper features extensive solar power, a kitchenette, a bathroom, and a nearly queen-sized bed in the back. It also has a surprising amount of storage, which is perfect for Lindsey’s impressive shoe collection. She’s been on the road for 6.5 years and has no plans to stop anytime soon.

And since then he has added treehouse after treehouse, a number of bathhouses for the homes without plumbing, and an extensive system of suspension bridges. There are even several ziplining courses! Enjoy a tour of the resort below.

Julia and Vincent were looking for a cozy home to move to their property in Lille, France, and chose the ever-amazing Baluchon to turn their dreams into reality. This tiny house is just as impeccably crafted as all earlier Baluchon builds. With a traditional gable roof and beautiful red cedar siding, this THOW will look striking wherever it goes.
You walk into the living room with a couch that can become a guest bed. Their loft access is a mix between a ladder and staircase, with a steel beam and floating oak steps. Shirley and A.W. wanted to do something new during retirement, so they bought a bus and built out a skoolie! Their only regret? That they didn’t do it sooner!
They have a neat L-shaped couch in the back of the bus which becomes their queen-sized bed at night, and another couch that turns into a twin for any guests. They are taking long trips when they can and staying close to home for longer stints to visit their new grandbabies.

Ryan has always loved outdoor activities and wanted a lifestyle that would allow him to do more of what he loved. Van life was the answer. But instead of rushing into a conversion right away, Ryan took his time, carefully planning out every detail of his future home on wheels, and spent a solid 13 months converting it.
You can see his care and dedication when you watch his tour. He has some great upgrades, like an induction cooktop, closet for hanging clothes, and a full bathroom with a self-cleaning door, Nature’s Head composting toilet, and even a clothesline for muddy stuff. But his pride and joy is his epic garage, which fits his mountain bike and all his adventure gear in a streamlined and organized fashion.
