This is an adorable A-Frame at the edge of a Massachusetts equine farm. The little spot is kind of an A-frame with wings, which makes it easier to walk around without hitting your head!
The interior is uninsulated, so it’s a glamping location, with a queen-sized bed and a little eating area indoors. The outhouse with a dryflush toilet is just a short walk away. You can also cozy up by the fire pit in the evenings and enjoy a s’more. What do you think?

This adorable 12 x 20 cabin looks like the perfect retreat or little home in the woods! While it does have a loft bedroom, there’s enough space on the first floor for some kind of convertible bed if climbing a ladder is too arduous.

Park models solve the problem that defeats most tiny houses on wheels: they make room for a private ground-floor bedroom. This one, near La Vernia, Texas, runs 40’10” by 11’2″ for 398 square feet plus a six-foot porch, laid out the way park models usually are — open-concept living room and kitchen at the front, bedroom and bathroom at the back, and no loft anywhere.
It was built in 2018 and had run as an Airbnb since 2020, which shows in its condition and in the fact that it sold fully furnished, appliances included. An electric fireplace anchors the living room, and the exterior carries a metal roof and fresh paint. Because it sits on axles, the buyer took responsibility for transport, levelling, and tie-down.

Jono and Taryn are an awesome couple with three girls, ages 8, 6, and 4, who are traveling full-time to see the United States! While they originally toyed with the idea of an RV, they preferred the idea of converting a skoolie that they could customize for their family’s needs.
This is a standard-height bus, with no roof raise, but there are strategic skylights throughout to allow Jono to stand upright in the kitchen, where he’s the chef. The dining room table is one of the coolest features of this home, but you’ll love all the clever and well-designed features.

Kenzie was first introduced to nomadic life while working on her Master’s degree in Massachusetts. She went down the rabbit hole of van conversions and skoolies, and “panic bought” her first school bus to convert while studying. She lived in that during her last year of her Master’s and then hit the road after graduation! Since the skoolie was just too cumbersome, she started looking at alternatives and landed on a truck home. This is far smaller than a bus, but it meets all her needs — even if she has to do her cooking on a camp stove outdoors. Sung lives in Santa Monica, California in a cube-like backyard cottage that she rents for $1,600. While that price might seem staggering, it’s less expensive than any other rental in the area, and a huge savings from the $4,500/month she spent while living in NYC. Moving to the West Coast has helped her save significantly, and she loves the outdoor patio space she has in her new place.

Alex and Meg are “slow roamin'” the Americas in their recently redone 2006 Chevy Express 2500. They added a roof raise and tons of awesome exterior gear to ensure they can get to and stay just about anywhere on their journey!
Their van, named “Betty” has gotten a total overhaul, including a much larger kitchen so cooking on the road is easier. They tucked the fridge between the front seats, and Alex built a cool rack that keeps all their dishes in place, no matter what the terrain. Let us know which part you love the most!

This amazing tugboat has been recently renovated and sits on a private 8-acre lake with 142 acres of woods surrounding it! There’s a main house and another guest cabin on the property, but with all that land, you’ll feel like you’re all on your own!
You can sleep up in the second-level pilot’s tower, which converts from a curved couch into a bed at night. There’s another private bedroom on the first floor and another curved dinette for meals! You get a full kitchen, a bathroom, and an amazing rooftop deck. I don’t know what’s not to love about this tiny vacation spot in Louisa, Virginia.
