Luna is Free Spirit Spheres’ newest sphere — 3200 mm across, five windows, a rectangular double bed on an electrically operated hydraulic lift. As of August 27, 2026, one night is $395 CDN for one or two people. The Luna page puts the stay on a 5-acre private property near Qualicum Bay, Vancouver Island, British Columbia; the contact page puts the lodge in Qualicum Beach.
A Dark Sphere in the Trees
The still is a dark, glossy sphere hung in the canopy. One circular porthole faces the camera. Thin cables run from eye-bolts on the shell to the trees and a wood frame overhead. A small plank landing sits to the left, a yellow post at the corner.
Free Spirit Spheres prints Luna as the newest and most luxurious sphere, same diameter as Eryn and Melody: 3200 mm. Five-window configuration.
Spiral Stair to the Landing
A spiral stair with wood treads and a dark rail wraps a trunk and climbs to that landing. The sphere hangs in a wood frame among the evergreens, cables holding it in the opening.
From the forest floor the sphere reads as a dark ball in the trees. The stair is the way in. The stay is one or two people on a double bed — that is the printed occupancy on the Luna page, dated August 27, 2026.
Galley at the Porthole
Inside, the wall is wood. A large circular window sits over a dark-green bench, a patterned pillow at one end. Brass hardware on the frame — two windows on this sphere open. Through the glass: trees, water, a picnic table on a dirt clearing.
To the right, the galley: a brown-marble counter and a small round wood sink. The Luna page names a galley counter and sink, and electric heat.
Benches Under the Raised Bed
The benches wrap the curve. Green cushions, more pillows, storage cabinets underneath with recessed pulls. A second circular window on the right. A small wood table holds a mug and a notebook. Reading lights on the ribs.
Above the seating, a flat wood panel is the underside of the bed. The Luna page, as of August 27, 2026, names an electrically operated hydraulic lift for a rectangular double bed. In this still the panel is up, and the benches have the floor.
The Moon in the Ceiling
Look up and the ribs run to a circular wood medallion: a ring of trees and a moon in the middle. One small porthole in the curve. This is the 3200 mm sphere from the inside — the ceiling is close.
The Bath Is Not in the Sphere
As of August 27, 2026, the Luna page names a composting-toilet outhouse at the base, and a private 3-piece bathroom within 50 meters at the central bath house. That is the system as printed.
