  Great thinking! Have your cake and eat it too. The garage door concept is great but could use a little more thought.
  Is the trailer meant to be taken on the road? How do you stow the instruments safely? Does the trailer part “plug in” to regular electric service when away from the normal source of utilities?
  Nice to see some free thinking.

  First off a Great Value Specific build. She got what she wanted at a price she could live with and blew away any doubts about tiny living/working. So practical for her business and lifestyle. I am in loe with her entertainment/Dining center. It has about a Billion application options and matches her home perfectly. Spent the extras on value items that she will use every day and insures her entertaining nature is well fed.
  Even has room for my required 1/2 bath in the music trailer. A nice ceiling mount bed to lower for guests is about all she needs. I agree with her that if she would have had time a full height ceiling in the loft woud have been desirable but raising that section of roof would be minor at this point…for me I would slope the new roof section to the back and not change the look on the front side that much. Or maybe a large Cupola/Dormer would do he trick as she has the perfect selection of materials to complement. A great spot for a Juliet Balcony off the bedroom back wall don’t you think?

  Garage door concept is cool. However, I’m going to assume her insurance company is charging her through the roof to insure both dwellings if she doesn’t have a way to secure those doors. Plus, garage doors, by their very nature, don’t seal well so wonder how that problem has been resolved when the wind blows or it rains/snows.

  Love seeing one of my FAVORITE orchestras’ member living the tiny life-style! If you’ve never heard their music, then you are truly missing out! Incredible music! I wished Asha was my neighbor, since she likes to do outside “concerts” on her front porch!

  While this is definitely much bigger & pricier than your average TH …I absolutely love the design & all that’s featured. The “garage door” in the primary TH is cool, but I probably wouldn’t like it in mine – mainly because it would take away space (for me), might be more drafty & definitely would be difficult to put curtains over …LOL! I do like my privacy. However, I still like it & for her lifestyle if blends right in! The garage door in the 2nd TH she uses for her music room is ideal & that I would like, if I had a “hobby house” or were a musician. So again, for her it’s perfect. Love the big amp on the 2nd one that actually has outdoor speakers built into it …how cool is that! Again, would love to have her as a neighbor, as long as the hours she played & projected her music through the “amp” were during reasonable hours …LOL!

  The manual kitchen item that lifts her pots/pans up & down is unique. Again, I wouldn’t want it in my home, as physically that would get exhausting to do every time I needed an item. Plus, I have a disability that makes it more difficult. I would also be a bit concerned that one of those cast iron skillets might come down on someones head …LOL! Still unique & interesting!

  I have to laugh at what she says in the video about forgetting to add more space for clothes to hang. So she actually has some of her clothes in kitchen drawers, which is funny considering the size of her TH! I definitely want some hanging space in my TH, as that’s important to me. I don’t like wrinkly clothes & I’m not much into ironing anymore, unless it’s absolutely needed!

  Love the bathroom with the large shower. I would add a fold down wooden bench in there to sit on, as there’s plenty of room for that in hers. I’m not a tub person, so a walk-in shower is a must for me. Though the idea of the “loose rocks” is cool looking, I would be afraid to slip on them, if they are indeed loose. Plus, with a disability I lose my balance quite easily, so I would also not have anything loose on the floor, and would add handrails inside. Additionally, I would have a handicap shower head that slides up/down & is easily removable. Also helpful when you have a dog to wash …LOL! Bonus is the window in the shower …I really like that, as you can open this to keep the steam out!

  The only thing I would be curious about …particularly on this one & since she’s away a lot traveling …is there an alarm system? I would think so, since she keeps her main part stationary. I believe she said she may travel sometimes with the music studio, but given the equipment inside, I wonder how you would put a security system on that one, since it’s not stationary -unless of course she doesn’t travel with it. That’s one part of TH living you don’t hear a lot about, as to how easy are they to break into and what, if any, types of security systems are designed for TH’s?

  KUDOS to Asha for keeping it tiny, as I’m sure being part of the Trans Siberian Orchestra allows her the affordability to live much bigger!

  Wow. I loved her story and how her passion for her home showed up in novel, practical design considerations and sense of aesthetics. Genius.
