Meet Nathan and his amazing skoolie which he built out for under $10K! His budget build has a “Modern Island Vibe,” which includes some cool Hawaiian and Filipino art, rock climbing drawer pulls, and burnt wood accents.

Aaron and his wife Sarah live full-time in the 2002 Chevy Express 2500 that he converted for just $22k (including the $6k for the bus itself). He had always dreamed of traveling, so he could enjoy all kinds of adventure sports, and was lucky enough to find a partner who loved the same things.

Amazingly, he documented the entire build process, and you can see a 50-second video below of a time-lapse of the conversion! He also has a few more videos explaining the build process and the choices they made. Check it out below!

Jess & Shawn wanted to get into #vanlife to make it easier to chase their rock climbing dreams. It took a bit of convincing for Jess to see herself living in a van, but with the promise of a giant closet and lots of Pinterest inspiration, she got on board.

Their bus features an awesome accent wall made from recycled fencing that hides their bathroom (and toiletry clutter), as well as a 3-burner stove and oven with a strategically-placed faucet that doubles as a pot-filler! Their Murphy bed allows them to easily transform the back of the van from “day mode” to bedtime. What do you think?

She rock climbs, she teaches yoga, she shoots photography — and she built out her own amazing DIY ProMaster van conversion in 9 months. Gaby doesn’t seem tied to any *one* thing — she’s lived in a number of vehicles, traveled the world, done the “city thing” and now she’s a solo traveler enjoying plenty of rock-climbing and a packed-full schedule of gigs that bring her joy (and pay the bills).

She learned that good was better than perfect as she borrowed tools from a tool library and taught herself how to build cabinets and hook up a water system. Somehow she squeezed two “offices” into her tiny space, and even has an exercise area to help her stay fit. Enjoy the video tour!
