I really like this house’s layout. Compact, but with great use of space. The only caveat for me is the roof line. I prefer peaked roofs on tiny houses, so that they look more like houses, and not crates.

I love the washer and dryer are neatly stacked and hidden behind the veil of mirrors in the bathroom. I also like the use of all the piping in the accents all around the home, from the railings to the trim around the bathroom mirror, the less than likely trim became a beautiful accent feature.
There are also some very nice features I will keep in mind while building my tiny home by the lake, for instance the large niche in the wall above the fireplace for extra nick-nack storage and display. Very nice feature indeed. Thank you for sharing… and to answer the original question; “YES!” I could absolutely live in this 28ft tiny home. Without a doubt, it’s very nice & cozy.

Thanks so much, Jacquelin! 😊 You’ve got a great eye for design details — those industrial pipe accents really do give it such a unique, stylish touch. Love that you’re already pulling inspiration for your own tiny home by the lake — can’t wait to see how it turns out! Feel free to share photos with us when it’s done, we’d love to feature it!

I so agree. I don’t need it to have a steep roof line, but water does need to be able to drain off. And helps it look like a house.

Thanks, Marcy! 😊 Totally agree — a little roof pitch makes a big difference for both looks and drainage. It really helps these homes feel more like a traditional house while keeping that cozy tiny vibe.

Thanks, Kyla! 😊 I totally get what you mean — a peaked roof really helps a tiny house feel more like a traditional home and adds great character too. That said, the flat roof design actually increases interior space in the lofts, which is one of the big advantages! Both styles definitely have their charm.
