This is a rainforest tiny house with a screened-in outdoor kitchen in Pepeekeo, Hawaii. When you first step in through the screen door, you’re in the outdoor kitchen/porch area. Pretty cool, don’t you think?

Step inside this simple little cabin to find a table, bunk beds, a sink, a toilet, and a shower. I bet something similar to this (with your own modifications) can be built pretty inexpensively. This particular tiny cabin, though, is a vacation unit in the rainforest and near Hawaii Volcanoes National Park and available to book via Glamping Hub. Take a look and let me know what you think of it below. How much do you think it would cost you in materials to build something similar to it?

This is the Galaxy Tiny House over at Orlando Lakefront. It’s a gooseneck tiny home on wheels for space lovers. From the outside, you get a hint of the theme with the purple and grey color scheme. But it isn’t until you enter the house that you see the galactical design features, which I’ll let you discover on your own.

The main bedroom is located just above the trailer hitch, and because it’s a gooseneck/fifth wheel trailer, you get a lot of extra headroom here in comparison to most tiny house sleeping lofts. The other loft is built over the bathroom, which features a standard flush toilet that can take you to the stars and back.

This is a speech that’s actually titled, Tiny Houses Make for an Extraordinary Life with Andrew Bennett at TEDxEustis. He’s the man behind Core Housing Solutions (builder of affordable THOWs) and he’s been designing and building tiny houses for many years now.

In this talk, Andrew shares how going tiny can create space in your life for new experiences in your life. And although I don’t think you must move into a tiny house to create more space for experiences in your life, he’s still right. Tiny houses, for the right persons at the right time in their life, can have an incredibly positive impact. How do I say it better than that?

This is the story of the Mejia family and how they ended up to downsize into a tiny house that they built themselves. Before they were living tiny, they were super busy, and would hardly really get to spend very much quality time with each other and with their son.

Then, the lay off came. That’s when they started seriously looking into alternatives and ran into the tiny house movement. The rest, as they say, is history. Please enjoy. This story is brought to you by Tiny House Giant Journey. Thanks, Jenna!?
