Randy, the owner of Incredible Tiny Homes and three communities built on his property, started out with nothing. He lost his business with the 2008 crash and was trying to make ends meet when his wife had the idea to start building tiny homes at an affordable price. Using borrowed tools, he built his first THOW for a friend seven years ago.
To date, ITH has built more than 700 homes and developed two tiny house communities, with the third on the way. Randy’s goal has been to support his family while also building affordable homes and creating affordable tiny house communities so others can also live comfortably. Watch the video about his journey below thanks to Tiny House Giant Journey on YouTube!

With all the working-from-home these days, it might be nice to have a separate office to keep work at “work.” This couple in Idaho wanted a custom tiny house to use as a guest house and an office with amazing views of the Tetons that they don’t get from their “big house.”
Based on the “Boulder” from Rocky Mountain Tiny Houses, this office on wheels has a small kitchenette against one wall, a wood-burning stove for a toasty ambiance, and a large desk/table looking out at the mountains. What do you think?

This is one of the latest builds from Rocky Mountain Tiny Houses in Colorado. The 29 ft. custom gooseneck build was designed with privacy in mind — fewer windows, with higher placement — and a bright white interior to make up for the lack of sunlight.
Lisa, the medical worker for whom this house was built, loves cooking, so the main portion of her living space is dedicated to her kitchen. Her bedroom is up a few steps to the gooseneck, and there’s a full bathroom underneath her closet space.

A couple of weeks ago we showed you David’s awesome garage transformation in France, but that was far from his first tiny project. He built this awesome tiny house on wheels in Kenya, where he and his wife live while she was researching for a book on African myths.
His design is remarkable, with “two-floor” design that allows standing space in the loft as well as plenty of space on the ground level. Enjoy the photos below and read David’s story after the photo tour.

Hillary raised her three children on her own since they were 6, 4 and 2, and while her job in law enforcement provided for them, it was never enough for Hillary to save for retirement. Once her kids were grown and out of the house, she chose tiny living so she could retire comfortably!
She was able to pay cash for her THOW and has no mortgage — only the monthly land rental fee she pays to her landlords. Her two older animals — a dog and cat — live with her and enjoy her fenced-in yard. And she calls it “cheating,” but Hillary also has a shed on the property for her seasonal clothes, a deep-freezer and extra pantry goods.

It features an open-concept floor plan, with a Murphy bed and oodles of built-ins on one side of the tiny house, and a galley kitchen and full bathroom with a stacked washer/dryer on the other. Pretty awesome!
