Kaiser Tiny Homes is run by Benedict Kaiser, who built his own tiny house at the age of 19 after graduating from Washburn Institute of Technology with a degree in HVAC. Since then, he’s been building and selling tiny homes for others! His latest model, St. Augustine, is 20-feet. long, and offers a first-floor daybed nook.
The home has a galley kitchen with a two-burner cooktop and a refrigerator, and a back bathroom with a washer/dryer unit, residential toilet, and a shower stall. It’s for sale now in Kansas for $43,000. What do you like most about this home?

Tiny homes with first-floor bedrooms are becoming more and more popular — and for good reason! People were tired of climbing into lofts to go to sleep, and the builders are now really listening to the consumer. Felicity is the latest tiny house from Frontier Tiny Homes in Colorado, and it has an incredible second-story loft system with full-standing height, so you can easily traverse from the main loft to the kid’s loft via the landing above the living room. In order to make that happen, this home is a foot above the standard highway height, so you’ll need to consider that if you want to move it frequently.
The bedrooms have built-in closets for maximum storage, and there’s also plenty of cabinet space and nooks on the first floor where you’ll find an L-shaped kitchen at one end of the home, and the bathroom at the other. With 10 feet of width, Cool Cottages could fit a comfortable living area in the main part of the 28-foot home.
