Electric bed lifts are such a cool way to include a “downstairs” bedroom into a tiny home without taking up floor space. This custom 22′ Clear Creek built for Veronicque by Tiny Idahomes shows how you can take a traditional tiny house layout and make it extraordinary by adding the electric bed.
In addition to that bed, you’ll find a galley-style kitchen with all the necessary appliances, and a bathroom with a one-piece shower and composting toilet. Finally, there’s a loft bedroom accessible via stairs.

April & Chad were once homeowners in the Portland area, working 6 days a week to stay afloat. But when they started seeing Tiny Living shows on HGTV, they ended up selling their home and business and moving into a studio apartment while they planned their tiny journey!
In 2017, they bought their 24′ Chinook Peak tiny house from Tiny Mountain Houses in Oregon, and parked it on April’s parent’s property. But when Chad’s aging parents needed help, they took their home with them all the way across the country to Maine, where they’ve been living on his parent’s land ever since. April said being able to take their home with them made the transition so much easier than it would have been otherwise!
The couple is now debt-free and have no regrets about going tiny three years ago. We got to do a Q&A with the couple, which you can read at the end of the post! Enjoy the photo tour.

The large window really lets the light and nature in, which is super-nice when in any home. Right under the window, there’s a custom couch that converts into a double bed. See more below!

Dane designed her quaint tiny house with the help of Oregon Cottage Company which then built her forever home. She’s been living tiny for four years already, and has moved the tiny house a total of four times!
She tells her son the house is her gift to him — when she dies he’ll just have to take a trip to Goodwill and another to the dump and he’ll be done!
She has a bump-out couch in the front, a loft bedroom, functional bathroom and a beautiful u-shaped kitchen in the back of the tiny home. You’ll love the video tour and interview with Tiny Home Tours below!

Rhett And Jennifer knew each other in high school and reconnected in college when they started dating. Believe it or not, the Cozy Roller THOW they now live in isn’t Rhett’s first tiny house build! Rhett and his dad built a THOW when he was in high school, but it was too bulky and heavy to travel in.
Learning from his previous “mistakes,” this 120 square foot THOW weighs just about 5,000 lbs and is easy for the couple to tow and use to travel the country. It even features a magical hidden bathroom, which is super neat. Want a tiny house like theirs? They are selling and building replicas of their innovative design for $30,000!
I also loved that they built what they could with the resources they had — right now they’re saving up for a stove/oven and washer/dryer and doing without in the meantime. Pretty wise for young people! You can watch the full tour from Tiny Home Tours below.
