What a cute tiny home mountain retreat for your next vacation (which is hopefully soon!). If you are thinking about buying a tiny house on wheels, I highly recommend staying a few nights (or a whole week!) in one to get an idea of what it’d really be like.
Of course, living in a space is much different than staying for a short time, but this is a very standard compact THOW that would help you get your feet wet. It sleeps up to three, has heating and air conditioning and is fully stocked with linens and towels. There is a grill outside as well as a community hot tub. And you can’t beat the views!
This is La Petite Maison Tiny House Airbnb rental in Portland, Oregon!
The cozy vacation property features an outdoor living area decorated with beautiful bulb lights, two loft bedrooms with queen-sized sleeping arrangements and a wonderful sectional sofa for relaxing with friends, family or the love the of your life! The fully-stocked kitchen allows for in-house cooking, and the sink is just about as beautiful as it gets. Enjoy the pictures and book your stay via Airbnb!
This is the Hidden Lovenest, a Welsh Tin Cabin in Pembrokshire that former owner, Gregory, emailed us about. Thanks!
The cottage is now a quaint and charming rental with gorgeous views of Welsh fields. Gregory said if memory serves him right, the house was 25 square meters, or 269 square feet. There’s a small kitchen, a cozy living room, and then a bedroom and bathroom. The veranda has a fun wood stove for warming by on cool nights.
They’re calling this one the Egg Harbor Township, NJ Tiny House and it’ll be available on Airbnb soon (we’ll post the link when we have it). I haven’t seen many tiny homes with a white exterior, but the way it contrasts with the wooden “strips” is just stunning. The interior is equally as lovely, with crisp white walls, a large comfortable l-shaped couch, and two bedroom lofts accessible via storage steps and secured with artful railings.
More details on the last page, and as always, contact Liberation with any questions about the build or to get your own.
This is The Modern, a Tiny House Hotel at Tiny Digs in Portland.
The build is just one of many you can stay in at Tiny Digs, but it’s certainly one of the more unique! Instead of your typical loft bedroom, this one has a clear loft living room, with the cozy bed on the ground-floor. Although not decked-out for full-time living, this looks like a great place to spend a weekend in Portland and try out a tiny house!

Last week we shared Tiny House Finder with you, but today we want to share Try It Tiny, a new website specially designed for those wanting to rent a tiny house or land to put one on!
The site allows “Hosts” to sign up and share the tiny house they have for rent, or land they are willing to share with a tiny home. “Guests” can then rent the home or land after creating an account.
Unlike most Airbnb tiny houses for rent, those on Try It Tiny can be long-term rentals (although you only rent for 90 days at a time, and renew every 3 months).
This is a resource I think we’ve all been waiting for! Check out one of the homes for rent below.
Try It Tiny: Rent Tiny Homes and Land On This New Site!
This is the dazzling Peacock tiny house on wheels with a rooftop deck from Old Hippie Tiny Homes.
Rob Millar builds custom homes for interested buyers, and if you’re interested in “trying out” the Peacock, you can rent a few nights on Airbnb! This one sleeps three near Death Valley, Nevada. What better way to get up-close and personal with a builder’s work and evaluate if it’s what you want? Click here to book your stay!
You have probably heard the news by now but in case you haven’t we wanted to share a little information about the new Tiny House Hotel that recently launched in Portland, Oregon.
Tiny house aficionados and entrepreneurs Deb Delman and Kol Peterson opened a three-room (or, rather, 3 house) tiny hotel in the Portland Arts district.
They worked with the city government to acquire the right permitting and spoke with the neighborhood businesses about their plans.
They contracted several tiny house designers and builders to create and lease the three current tiny houses with the hopes to expand.
Update: Elaine’s Tumbleweed tiny house is no longer available for rent at the moment but you can still enjoy this original article I published on August 22, 2011 below:
