This is a tiny Winnebago camper.

On the outside, you’ll notice aluminum siding with a small arched doorway.

When you go inside, you’ll find a bed, table, and storage cabinets. That’s about it!

It’s very much like a teardrop camper, isn’t it? Please enjoy, learn more, and re-share below. Thank you!

While visiting Portland, Oregon you can stay in this tranquil micro guest house that’s surrounded by a beautiful garden.

This cozy guest house has a kitchenette with dining area and a relaxing L shaped couch that converts to a full size bed. The bathroom has views of the lush garden outside.

Enjoy dining al fresco in the private patio or napping in the hammock on a lazy afternoon.

I think this is a great design for a micro guest house in the backyard. What do you think of this cozy guest house?

Check out how one man got inspired to build a Japanese style micro cabin on wheels.

It could be used for camping, as a backyard office or quiet reading space.

What would you use this DIY micro cabin for?

Below you can see a few photos and a video on this DIY micro cabin in Florida.

Guest Post – Garden Reading-Writing Room (Writing Shed)

My wife, finding it hard to write with me under foot, asked if I would built her a place where she could write without distraction. Given our small yard I knew that whatever I built would, by necessity, also need to be small.

I poured a concrete pad (26” x 52”), milled rough redwood 4×4’s and 1″ x 8″ fence boards, laminated copper onto concrete board and pieced together a room, of sorts, that serves the purpose and adds to the yard. I included an outlet and a light which makes the pearl plexiglass glow at night like a large Japanese lantern. In the day time the doors open up to the garden and the sun shines through a clear plexiglass ceiling strewn with marbles.

I really like this tiny cabin‘s modern look and feel.

Especially because everything remains simple. Really simple.

This modern micro house was designed to be a weekend getaway.

In it you’ll find a lofted sleeping area with a great view thanks to the cabin’s design.

There’s a screened porch area along with a deck. Take a look for yourself below.

After running into this teardrop camper by Teddybear Teardrops I just couldn’t help to share it with you.

I’m a big fan of teardrops because they’re easy and cheap to build. And they’re also easy and cheap to tow.

So even if you’re not doing well financially, chances are you can pull one of these off and still get to adventure with your family or significant other or even just by yourself!

It’s a great way to get around and see new things without completely emptying your wallet. And if you’re a beginner builder and want to get your first project under your belt, this may be the best way to go besides building furniture.

Otherwise there are plenty of folks out there who would be willing to build one for you at a pretty affordable price.

Guest Post by Barry Howard Studio

Three things have always been part of my life: art, travel and designing and building small living spaces that move.

I have converted school busses into two-story homes that featured wood cookstoves, lofts and stained glass windows.

I built a home in vans, VW busses, mini-vans, a VW bug, and a 24′ trimaran, and I have built several micro houses on flat bed utility trailers and a couple of them on the ground.

My current project is one I have had in my head for several years… It’s a gypsy caravan that can be pulled by a bicycle.

Think you can live in, work in, and share a small apartment?

That’s what I do with my 500-square-foot apartment that I’m showing you today.

Small Apartment Design for Live/Work

I took my apartment’s dimensions, design and layout and did my best to match it.

Then I made some slight improvements that I thought would make it better.
