Now, at age 21, Josh and his girlfriend Lindsay are almost done building it and getting ready to move in.
In the beginning, he started the project with a summer job to save money for the trailer and building materials.
Three years later, he’s almost finished! And Josh is proud to say that he’s kept the project debt-free.
He also decided to start his own tiny house construction company called Red Door Tiny Homes. He offers tiny house framing plans and building services.

This is the story of a couple living tiny with a baby! Meet Peter and Shannon.
Thanks to their tiny house, Shannon has been able to stay at home full time with her baby. Also, Peter and Shannon are creating professional tiny house plans based on their design.
The couple named their house, “Blueberry,” and it’s located in Vancouver, BC. From the outside, you’ll notice it has a beautiful blue color with a barn shaped roof, and a skylight.
When you go inside, you’ll find a living area, sleeping loft, kitchen, and bathroom! Please enjoy, learn more, and re-share below. Thank you!

This is one couple’s DIY Tumbleweed tiny house on wheels.
Outside, you’ll notice darkly stained pine clapboards encompassing the tiny trailer house. The trim is a periwinkle blue and the roof line includes two side dormers for extra space when you’re in the sleeping loft.
When you go inside, you’ll find a drafting desk, stand-up desk that doubles as storage, kitchen, bathroom, sleeping loft, and more. The couple took about seven months to build it. They plan to continue making improvements while living in it.
