I just had to show you this tiny house design sent in by a reader.
It’s called the mobile wooden hut which is designed for four people to sleep in.
The purpose of this mobile micro cabin is to serve as a cabin for vacations and camping sites.
Right now the first ones are being built for a campground in Belgium.

You might have last heard from me back in October/November about the first tiny home that my girlfriend Kelsey and I built and lived in outside of Austin Texas on an organic farm.
Well since that time my girlfriend and I were asked if we would be interested in selling our house and since I had already been considering building another one because building the first was so much fun we decided to take the offer on our house.
The man who bought our house also lived in our city and was interested in actually joining us in living on the farm in the house and paying the house off over time and since we had been wanting to expand the tiny house area of the farm which is called “Tiny Town” we thought that was a wonderful idea.
This conversation was had in late November and so we instantly got to work on the second house, because the first house was going to it’s new owner at the end of February.
If you’re into simple living but tiny living is too much you’re in the right place because today I’m showing you an 800 sq. ft. small house by Lanefab.
It’s a one-bedroom one-bath with a garage and it’s a two-story design. When you walk in (maybe after you park your car in the garage) you’re greeted by an entry.

Here’s a one of a kind custom built micro travel trailer that you could use for camping or traveling. (SOLD)
It would work sort of like a teardrop camper, only it’s built like a micro cottage instead.
But in order to do that the new buyer would have to perform some renovations on it.
Because it was originally built for a parade and was later used to transport dogs.

That’s right, “couple builds tiny home to live in their Portland backyard while they rent out their main house for income.”
Mike and Laura were recently featured in the Sustainable Business Oregon by the Portland Business Journal.
They’re a couple who have built a 160 square feet tiny house on a utility trailer to avoid zoning restrictions on tiny housing.
According to the article they use the micro home to supplement their income. But here’s the twist.
They’re moving into the tiny house and renting out there big house to live simply.

Not everyone that’s a tiny house enthusiast can always move into a tiny home.
But that hasn’t stopped some people from building them and using them for something else.
In this case, this woman is using a tiny home that used to be part of a house truck as a revamped vacation rental in her backyard.
So when it gets rented out she gets to earn some money on the side for minimal work.

I thought I’d share this excellent example of people living simply in a tiny cabin in Alaska.
It’s a simple log cabin with a covered front deck. When you walk inside you’ve got your living area and kitchen. And upstairs is your sleeping loft with skylights which you’ll get to see down below.
