Check out this two-story fairytale cob cottage nestled in the woods of Mayne Island in British Columbia. For a cob home, this one looks amazing to live in full time. I personally, love the textured stone flooring.

Downstairs is the living area with glass sliding doors that open to the beautiful stone courtyard to expand the living area outdoors. An indoor fireplace keeps the home warm during the weather. The kitchen has lots of counter space and a built-in dining table. The cozy bathroom has a built-in wood shelf for towels and other wood details. Up the Douglas-fir stairs is the bedroom with an outdoor balcony and skylights to provide tons of natural sunlight. Could you live in a cob cottage like this one full time? Please enjoy and share below.

There’s even a kid’s loft above the living area! The parent loft is above the bathroom where they added some cool wooden shutters for extra privacy. Great idea, right?

Want to try out tiny living? Check out this rustic modern tiny house you can rent using Airbnb.

It’s located in Portland, Oregon in a great area close to restaurants and shops. The owner’s built this tiny house using 80% reclaimed materials.

Inside you will see there is a couch that unfolds to a bed in the living area with neat Mason jar lighting. The vaulted ceilings and large windows make this tiny house seem very spacious.

The kitchen has lots of counter space and there is a stove/oven so you can prepare meals if you like. The bathroom is just beyond the kitchen.

Up the ladder, above the kitchen and bathroom, you will find the sleeping loft with a cozy queen size bed.

I love the way they decorated and used the wood on the celing to give this tiny home a cozy feel. There is a beautiful surrounding garden outside the tiny house. Please enjoy and share below.

I’m excited to show you this man’s handmade gypsy wagon micro cabin.

It’s about 6′ wide and 10′ long and the owner/builder, Russ, considers it a really nice bedroom on wheels because it has no bathroom or kitchen.

Russ invested over 200 man hours hand crafting and custom building it all from scratch. It has lots of beautiful detail, built-in storage, and even a gorgeous wood sink!

Ever thought about turning a 1-car garage into a tiny house or micro apartment as a way to live simply and affordably?

If you have, you’re not alone! And it’s definitely one way to build and live tiny. You must of course check with your local codes and zoning first, right?

But lucky for us, Travis is sharing the garage to tiny home conversion that he’s living in right now.

It’s pretty awesome too because the garage door still opens! Please go inside and enjoy the entire tour and then re-share it below. Thanks!
