This 450 sq. ft. concrete block tiny home is completely off the grid and located in Eastern Washington. Heat comes from a classic wood stove and since there is no well yet water has to be delivered by a truck.
This concrete cabin is designed by Miller Hull and it’s called the Marquand Retreat.

Here’s a 300 sq. ft. Amish built rustic cabin from the 1860’s. It was originally built in Sandusky, OH and was transported to the Asheville, NC area in 2002. It’s about 17′ x 15′ with a covered front porch that has great nature and mountain views.
Inside this rustic cabin you’ll find a small living area just under the sleeping loft. And near the ladder that goes up to the loft is a wood burning stove to keep the cabin warm during winter.
In the sleeping loft there is a cozy queen sized bed. Back down in the living area there is a cozy day bed for relaxing or afternoon naps. The small kitchenette has essentials for simple cooking and a mini refrigerator. Go outside and take a few steps away from the cabin to find the outdoor shower and the outhouse. You have to truly see the cabin (below) to appreciate it. Please enjoy and re-share below. Thank you!

I think you might agree that this Berkshire Small House is the epitome of simple living because it’s not too much and it’s not too little. The home was built using modified Tumbleweed Whidbey plans.
And unlike many tiny houses this gorgeous little cottage could easily serve even a growing family and their descendants for many decades to come because it has two bedrooms, a big walk-in closet, radiant floor heating, and more.
It’s a beautiful example of what housing and real estate could be if we can inspire developers to give us what we really want, don’t you think? If you agree that more homes like this would help society please join the movement and re-share below. Thank you!

This DIY Off Road Tiny Nissan Truck Camper a guest story by Bartek Felski
It started with browsing in search of inspiration from enthusiasts gathered around Bajataco (Toyota Tacoma fans) who presented on its website an interesting solution based on the basic premise – the car block is unchanged. Contrary to serious limitations as the width of container in many cases managed to ingeniously solved living space. The problem was, however, one – I have not found similar conversions on a short four-door Nissan’s chest.
In “daily” – alcove with seats in the rear of the car. Under the seats there are lockers. Above the rear axle will place extra fuel tank (length 153cm) and cupboard over it with a folding table top (when unfolded will serve as a bed). Version of “Night” is a complex table and thus occasioned bed for 2 persons with dimensions 120cm x 172cm. At the top is unfolded will also be organized bed measuring 120cm x 172cm, partly overlapping the lower bed. The height difference between them is 55cm.

This is an inspiring story of how a community of amazing people are helping this 83-year-old homeless widow enjoy her very own barn tiny home. Our big thanks goes to Jill Penley for sharing.
It’s a 12′ by 36′ yard barn that’s being renovated thanks to the help of local church members and a mission group in Hawkins County. And to her, this is a mansion since she has been homeless for the last 15 years of her life after losing her husband.
Originally the barn structure was 12′ by 24′ but they added on to it to make it 36′ so that a dedicated downstairs bedroom can be comfortably added. Please enjoy and re-share this inspiring story below. Thank you!

You are looking at the POD-iDladla micro house. It’s a prefab POD concept designed to be cheap to build, easy to ship, and easy to set up.
This tiny home is designed by South African architect Clara da Cruz Almeida while the interior is designed by Dokter and Misses. The home offers just 185 sq. ft. of space inside or 221 sq. ft. if you include the outdoor deck. When you go inside you’ll notice the kitchen and upstairs sleeping loft right away. The high ceilings help make the loft space more roomy than most other tiny homes featured here.
Since it’s a flat pack prefab design, you can easily ship it anywhere (kind of like IKEA furniture). The designer even included the possibility of moving in mind. So essentially you can flat pack it and take it with you to another plot of land if need be. Sounds crazy, doesn’t it? What are your thoughts? Crazy or cool? Please enjoy and re-share below. Thank you!

This is a Honda N-Truck with an N-CAMP package to tow behind.
It’s a concept Honda is toying with that could be a great affordable solution if you want to travel with less impact (financially and environmentally).
It’s based on a Honda Kei car which is a Japanese sub compact car with about 63 horsepower and a 660 cc engine. Inside the tow-behind travel trailer you’ll find a table, loft bed for two, a pair of armchairs, and not much more. Unfortunately, for now, this is just a concept but it did debut at the 2015 Japan Camper Show. What do you think? Would you ever buy something like this?
