Just a few days ago we showed you a 10×41 Denali by Timbercraft Tiny Homes — and here’s a Rustic Denali! Just like the other one, this one has a bedroom over the fifth wheel so you don’t have to climb a ladder to get to bed. But this one also has a secondary loft bedroom for guests, kids, or even storage.

The kitchen and living area are still large and spacious, and you get a full bathroom and room for a washer/dryer combo.

To get a better feel for the layout, there’s a video tour at the end of another Denali XL — the finishes are different, but the layout is similar! Timbercraft says this is their most popular model, and I can see why.

While this isn’t a residential tiny house, it’s still a cool use of “tiny technology” in the real world! The City of Aspen, Colorado was in need of a building to act as a check-point for passengers carpooling (they get a free parking voucher in the city if they carpool from outside the city lines), but because it needed to be easy to move whenever needed, it also had to be self-sustaining and mobile. They needed an off-grid carpool kiosk, and Rocky Mountain Tiny Houses delivered.

Because of the company’s experience with off-grid technology and designing/building itty bitty spaces on wheels, they won the bid with the city and delivered a compact mobile office that can withstand frigid Aspen winters with ease. Inside it has an office area, small kitchenette, and a half bath. The whole thing runs on solar, and is heated with a mini-split system. You can read more about the specifics of the build at Rocky Mountain Tiny Houses.

This is Meg and Aaron’s incredible Promaster Van conversion that seems to fit everything into its tiny space! Not only do they have a bathroom (shower & composting toilet); they also included a chef’s kitchen (Meg is Superyacht Chef) and a rooftop deck for yoga, relaxing and sunset cuddles.

The two spent 2.5 months stripping their van and making it into their travelling house. It runs on solar power and propane, and has a huge garage space to fit all their toys. Tiny House Giant Journey did a fantastic video tour with the couple which you can watch below.

These are the plans for your very own 8×12 Walden Cabin created by Lamar over at Simple Solar Homesteading. The base cabin can sleep up to 4 people in just 96 square feet, and it includes a bathroom with a toilet and shower!

Lamar’s plans also include an optional 9×8 addition to the cabin, which can be added on later, and instructions on how to build a deck and patio on your dwelling.

Even buying all new materials, you can build the 8×12 portion of the cabin — insulated, drywall, foundation, and roofing — for just $2,000 according to Lamar’s calculations.

Note: Lamar does not sell pre-built cabins, but you can buy his plans for it here for just $5!

Meet Tawny and Mike and their skoolie bus life with teens! Amazingly, they bought and renovated this bus for just about $20,000 and it’s absolutely gorgeous.

The build includes one of the most amazing “tiny” bathrooms I’ve ever seen, with a wet-bath style and feathered concrete walls/tub. The parents have a bedroom in the back of the bus and the teens (who live there part-time as they also spend time with their dad) have beds that fold out Murphy-style in the front. I also love their L-shaped kitchen, which features concrete counter tops!

Tiny House Giant Journey did a great video tour with the family, so be sure to check that out at the end of the post.
