Meet Lexi & Tyler. They traveled the country in their converted school bus for about a year and a half before buying some land to settle down in the north part of Austin, Texas. Now the couple is living in their bus, saving to build a small home or yurt (I love yurts), and starting a homestead complete with some adorable chickens.

They escaped their $1850/month rent for a one-bedroom in Los Angeles and bought/renovated their bus for around $25,000. It is absolutely gorgeous. Burnt orange accents, white beadboard cabinetry, and a pine-paneled ceiling make the space both bright and warm at the same time.

We got the awesome chance to do a Q&A with Lexi & Tyler (@onewildridebus on Instagram) which you can enjoy at the end of the post.

This is a small loft apartment in Los Angeles, California. It looks like the perfect place for a visit to Hollywood, doesn’t it? Yes, it’s available via Airbnb.

I also really like the studio layout. If you’re interested in downsizing to a smaller space, but are not quite ready for a tiny house, a studio apartment like this could be a great transition. Have you ever considered a studio kind of like this? What’s your favorite city?

The town council of Amherstburg recently voted to allow tiny homes on foundations with a minimum 323-square-feet (30-square-meters) minimum and within 20 meters distance from the primary dwelling, according to the Windsor Star.

Tiny homes take many different shapes and forms, even when it comes to zoning and real estate. One way to get legal tiny houses back on the map is through RV parks, right? That’s one way. Another way to do it is through ADUs (Accessory Dwelling Units), also known as guest houses, secondary dwellings, accessory structures, and the like.

Brattleboro Tiny House Fest grows into big ideas

Brattleboro, Vermont — Tiny House Fest Vermont (THFV) began with 5,000 attendees in 2016. As the festival grows, so does its engagement with not-so-tiny ideas. On Saturday, June 23, in downtown Brattleboro, up to 30 houses will be on view, and over 35 presenters will celebrate design while asking how the tiny house movement can change communities for the better.
