In October 2020, Kaitlyn and Eugene hit the road in their self-converted Promaster 3500 Extended. These high school sweethearts have been married for 10 years and spent about 10 months converting their empty cargo van into a loving home.
This van has everything you could want — a refrigerator/freezer, a shower, and even a toilet! They definitely didn’t spare any expense to make this place a comfortable home.

Abe and Micah bought a house in California and flipped it (it was “a dump” according to them) into exactly what they wanted. But then they realized they loved traveling — not being tied to one location — so they sold the house and reinvested some of the money into their raised-roof skoolie home.
They downsized from 2,000 to 200 square feet with their two young boys, and just wait until you see their gorgeous bus! It feels truly homey with a brick backsplash, faux leather couches, and custom bunks for the boys with sliding doors.
Enjoy the video tour and interview from Tiny Home Tours below, and follow the family on Instagram here.

This is an ambulance turned into a modern motorhome/surf camper.
The old ambulance was brought to YetiBus Builds by a client of theirs, Chelsea, who bought it with the intention of turning it into a weekend camper and mobile surf shack. The goal was to be able to cook simple meals from it and rinse off after a surf session. The result is this awesome ambulance surf camper by YetiBus Builds. Check it out!

Emily is a lawyer in North Carolina who *just* moved into her gorgeous tiny house built by Mint Tiny House Company. She wanted her own thoughtfully-designed place, without needing to keep up with a 4-bedroom home — so she chose a tiny home!
She’s only been in it now for eight days, and the builder included everything she wanted, including a dishwasher and huge soaking tub! Her dog, Tipper, lives with her and is already finding himself at home.
We got to do a Q&A with Emily (@notteeny_justtiny) about why she went tiny and some advice she has for others. One big thing? Make sure you have parking lined up before you get too financially committed — she nearly lost her deposits when she couldn’t find a legal spot to put her home.

This week we got an email from a new tiny house/van conversion builder — Tiny Topanga based in Central Mexico and Southern California. The business started out as a side project, but they enjoyed building so much that they decided to keep going. Now they do van conversions and continue to build tiny homes on wheels and hope to spread the tiny lifestyle internationally!
Now their first build is for sale. It’s a beautiful 24×8 tiny house on wheels with 2 lofts. It has a steel frame and is ready to go off grid with clean and gray water tanks. What makes Tiny Topanga special are the handcrafted touches such as the talavera tile in the shower and kitchen, and the hand forged copper ceiling lamps.
Enjoy the photo tour below, or put in an offer here.

Husband Derrick has a construction job that forces him to move frequently. Wife Alexis said they used to rent homes or apartments, but never really felt like they had a “home.” But 3.5 years ago, they decided to buy an RV so they could bring their house with them no matter where they move to!
They have two young boys who enjoy their bunk room in the middle of the RV. Alexis says they didn’t do a full make-over on their RV but used paint and some new furniture to make it their own without spending a fortune. Speaking of fortune, their RV life saves them thousands per month.
We got to interview Alexis (@thetinywallsfamily on Instagram) below, so be sure to read all about their tiny life after the photo tour.
