When this couple first met, they jumped into travelling and ended up eloping! But when a baby came, they settled back into standard “American” life with their three-car garage and large home.
The coming of the pandemic gave them the “go-ahead” to chase their nomadic dreams once again. They felt like it was finally ok to homeschool and start traveling with their kids in tow. So they rented out their home, bought a partially-finished bus, and made the space their own!

Here’s the latest custom build coming from Indigo River Tiny Homes. Dubbed “Chuy’s House,” this THOW is 10 feet wide, offering some extra elbow room and space to put in not one, but two staircases to lofts.
In one loft, there’s enough standing headroom around the bed for anyone under 6’4″! There’s also two built-in wardrobes for clothing storage. Under that room you’ll find the bathroom complete with a washer and dryer.
The separate living room provides a dedicated relaxation zone, and there’s a full kitchen in the center of the house. Check it out below!

Meet this awesome couple who took inspiration from marine set-ups to create a functional Sprinter van home. Unlike many vans we’ve seen, they put the kitchen along the cab of the van, creating a solid divider between the driving and living space.
That design choice gave them room to include a full banquette, a breezeway and a permanent bed setup. They chose a simple garage without much shelving so they could maximize all their space, and they have a huge battery bank for their solar power.

Jon is a PC-gamer in law school and Christina is finishing up her Master’s degree. After a three-year long-distance relationship, Christina sold her 1200 square foot fixer-upper in North Carolina and moved down to Florida to live with Jon. She’d been a fan of tiny homes for a long time, and it seemed like a great chance for the couple to save money and pay down student loans.
They’re lucky enough to park on Jon’s parent’s land, and they used SIPs (structurally insulated panels) to create the frame and roof of the home. As such, all their walls are magnetic, which is kind of neat!
The home is 32’ long, 8.5’ wide, 13.5’ tall, and has two lofts — a Master loft with stair access, and then a craft/reading loft with a really neat sliding DIY ladder. Tiny Home Tours did a great video tour of the place which can watch below!

With names like “Sunny” and “Luna,” this happy couple just had to outfit their van with some celestial accents. Named “Stella,” their Ram Promaster van includes a shower and toilet combo lined with glass tiles.
I really love their double swivel seats that allow them to have a spot to sit, work and eat even with their bed made. But if they want to host or have more room to sprawl out, their queen-sized bed transforms into a u-shaped dinette with seating for 5.
Tiny Home Tours did a great video tour of their boho-chic rig, which you can check out below!

Emily and Erica were looking for a vacation property in Joshua Tree and came across this awesome cob tiny home. They were able to fix up the earthen home and add in an outdoor kitchen and bathroom to complete a “better-than-glamping” vacation experience.
While they block off days for their own vacations with family/friends, Emily & Erica also put the spot on Airbnb so we can all enjoy time there, too! Jenna over at Tiny House Giant Journey did an awesome video tour of the spot which you should check out below!

Michelle got in touch with us wanting to show off her bold and beautiful apartment style. Many of us are still working remotely due to the pandemic, and just because you live in a tiny apartment rather than a “tiny house,” doesn’t mean you can’t make your apartment your own.
She describes her style as a blend of old Cornish cottage style, Japanese style, Latin style, and Scandinavian style. The result is a totally unique and cozy home. Michelle hopes sharing pictures of her space will inspire you to make the most of your apartment, too!
Check out the photo tour below.
