Dyllan was super successful in her work and making good money, when she realized she wasn’t fulfilled in life.  Having been able to pay off her student loans and save, she was in a good place to quit, build out a van and start traveling with her dog Juniper. After driving 30,000 miles across the US, she has settled in Moab where she works in dog rescue for Underdog Rescue.

Her beautiful bright and open van meets all of her needs and doubles as a transport vehicle for at-risk dogs. Right now she has two little foster puppies and a whole drawer dedicated to dog food. Enjoy the tour!

Originally, Maggie and her father were thinking of building a full-time-residence tiny home, but when her pottery hobby really took off back in 2020, the two decided a mobile pottery studio was in order.

Their 12×8 creation is absolutely stunning, and it has heating, AC, electricity, and plumbing. It acted as her storefront for a while, but now it’s parked on the land where Maggie and her fiancé are building their dream home. She was kind enough to do a Q&A with us, which you can read below!

Prolific tiny house builder Marsha, who has constructed eight or nine different tiny homes over the years, teamed up with her 19-year-old grandson Zachary to build this micro THOW. When life events pulled Zachary away from the project—a work promotion, his uncle’s hockey injury, and the arrival of Marsha’s first great-grandchild—she finished the build solo despite material shortages and price increases.

The compact design fits a twin bed and kitchenette with creative over-tongue cabinet storage. Features include a 10-inch stainless steel sink, space for a portable stovetop, USB-charged puck lights, fiberglass insulation throughout, and both interior and exterior-access storage compartments. This unit has sold, but the build demonstrates what’s achievable with determination and a modest budget.

Nate and Daysh are another example of folks who enjoyed tiny living for a season. The couple wanted to travel the U.S., so they started with a van build, decided they needed more space, and then upgraded to this beautiful shuttle bus. That said, they never planned on tiny living forever — so they are selling the bus now and building their first home.

Their bus featured a spacious queen-sized bed, huge pantry/closet, and a galley kitchen with an oven and top-loading fridge. The interior is light and bright with a really cool ceiling. Check it out below!

You don’t have to be a tiny person to live in a tiny home! Francis just got his custom-built THOW from Baluchon, specially-designed to accommodate his 6’3″ height. Even as tall as he is, Francis chose a loft bedroom set-up for his new full-time house.

He has a fun kitchen design that’s separated from the living space with a half-wall and window divider. In the living room, you’ll find a multipurpose couch that not only includes lots of storage but becomes a bed for two when needed. He named it “The World Tree” after Norse mythology. What do you like about this build?
