This home was built in 2018 by a homeowner and professional subcontractors with Tumbleweed plans, and it’s being resold by Indigo River Tiny Homes. It has a classic gable roof covered in red metal roofing panels, and a stunning wooden exterior.
Inside, there’s a bay window with a bench-style couch that can be removed and lifted into an office space. A flip-up table also provides a good spot to eat. Thin storage stairs lead to the crawl-in loft, and the kitchen and bathroom sit side by side at the end of the house.

Mindy purchased her 2003 Honda Element in 2008 for her catering business and converted it to a camper in 2022 for travel. When her home sold in just 24 hours, she decided to live full-time in her rig until she found the perfect piece of land to settle down on.
She’s been on the road for 19 months, living out of just 35 square feet. Even with all the upgrades she’s made to her rig, she’s spent only $5.5K on the conversion, and her 20-year-old vehicle is still going strong. You’re going to love seeing the way she’s meticulously designed her home on wheels to fit everything she needs, and nothing she doesn’t.

This custom Sprinter van is home to Jordan and Tommy, who use the van to travel throughout New Zealand. This is their third van, and improves on all the shortcomings of their previous rigs. Both of them worked stressful jobs in the UK before deciding to sell their home and pursue vanlife in Australia. After living there awhile, they got a new van to enjoy New Zealand — and they have no plans to ever go back to homeownership!
The van has a great layout, with double swivel chairs in the front that turn to face a mini couch (which *can*) become a twin bed, although they’ve never used it. The kitchen and bathroom face each other in the middle of the van, and the queen-sized bed takes up the back. They have two more bench seats in front of the bed which house additional storage. Enjoy their tour below!

How do you go tiny when you have two teenagers? You build two tiny homes! Or at least that’s what worked for Wayne, Anthea, and their two daughters, Darienne and Remony. Wayne is an architect who wanted to design his own space, and building two tiny homes for their family sounded like a fun project.
The girls were 15 and 17 when they moved in three years ago, and now they’re adults enjoying their private “apartment” while still meeting by the outdoor patio in the evenings. The homes were DIY builds, and everyone got involved! They’re able to park them on a friend’s farm, in exchange for Anthea’s farm help. What a fun set-up!
