From certain angles, it seems windowless, but there are plenty of windows allowing for natural light in this tiny house. The loft area is located above the bathroom with a shower vanity and toilet.

Inside, it’s like an ordinary tiny home with a loft space, kitchen, and bathroom. There is a custom staircase with storage to take you to the cantilevered sleeping loft that’s located above the bathroom.

There’s also built-in lighting on the ceiling. In the rear of the tiny house, there are two large doors that swing wide open, making it easy to get things in and out of the tiny house which makes it great for artists.

Allex, this is going in the right direction on pricepoint. Very innovative, good flow, and an amazing amount of shell-within-shell visuals. Designed to travel much better than most, and I love the skylights. This builder should do well as he is ahead of the curve for a soon-to-be mobile population. I would think he could do a nice Paek Model using SIPS as he uses standard sheets in these for-sale units. As for taste, staying in this format and style may be a whitewash instead of natural birch would lighten it up a bunch. It would be natural for the Industrial Modern style. They hit the window unique button SEVERAL times on this one.
While I appreciate the innovative design, then I find it too dark inside. And I see no way of escaping, if a fire starts, in the middle of the night, at the opposite end of the bed. I see no escape hatch or window big enough for a person to get out through. It is not a house I would like live in.
Overall I like this but, for me, I see one glaring flaw in these. A loft bed with no railing at the end of the loft. If a person fell out of bed…
I totally concur… one restless night and you could end up a cot case. Now THAT is a case where regs need to be in place.
I’m not sure why you think those angled panels on each side produce a more aerodynamic body. Surely, there will be vortices on the trailing edge of each panel that will increase drag, not decrease it.
No, you’d have to tow it in reverse for that to happen. Keep in mind there’s multiple factors that effect aerodynamic efficiency. Like the drafting effect, which is why you can get better mileage when driving behind a semi truck or how migrating birds benefit from flying in formation. Mind, each panel isn’t just angled but a step smaller than the one before it…
It looks unfinished to me and no pictures of the all important bathroom. Yes on the bed railing, but saying it would be good for an artist is rather laughable. In order to live in there I would have to get rid of 99% of my art supplies.
Photos of the bathroom are in the actual listing. While it entirely depends on the artist and the type of art they do as to whether this would work for them or not.
