This is a 160-square-foot container home in Blue Ridge, Georgia that’s perfectly situated among the trees. One of the coolest features of the cabin is a giant rooftop deck that extends out from the edges of the container to act as a roof for the lower wrap-around deck. It’s down there that you’ll find a hot tub and rocking chairs with a view.
Inside the container, there’s a studio-style set-up with a queen-sized bed in the middle. A kitchenette on the left has a two-burner cooktop, mini-fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. To the right of the bed, there’s a bathroom with a residential toilet and shower stall. What do you think of this shipping container cabin?

- Rooftop Decks Double Your Space: By extending the rooftop deck beyond the container’s edges, this design creates a covered patio below while adding usable space above
- Studio Layouts Work for Small Footprints: Placing the queen bed in the center with kitchen on one side and bathroom on the other maximizes flow in 160 square feet
- Outdoor Amenities Expand Tiny Living: A hot tub, hammocks, fire pit, and games area make a small interior feel much larger by extending living space outdoors
- Containers Work in Forest Settings: Nestled among trees, this container home shows how industrial materials can blend into natural environments
- Residential Fixtures Add Comfort: Using a standard toilet and walk-in shower instead of RV-style fixtures makes a tiny space feel more like home

This is really lovely! I love the decks!
I love outdoor deck but I do not like interior. It looks funny.
While its very nice and love the upper and lower decks. I would never want a cooking surface right beside my bed.
