Adam’s father had always wanted to convert a school bus and homeschool Adam and a potential second child while traveling the country. Tragically, his life was cut short. But Adam — and his Winnebago named “Eve” — are making that dream a reality!
Originally, Adam thought he would only be on the road for a year, but once he was 9 months in, he wanted to find out how to do this indefinitely. He sold his house, his motorcycle, and the car he loved to pursue van life! Natalie learned carpentry skills in a number of workshops but noticed that many of the women watched while the men “did the things.” She had a passion for permaculture and sustainable building and wanted to create a safe space where women could get hands-on building experience to create their own homes! So she started Wild Abundance.
Her own log tiny house (which has been added onto over the years and is now “small” rather than “tiny”) sits on the property where she does workshops, but there are also lots of educational videos on her website which you can learn from. Trey and Addie were working as Crossfit instructors when they realized they were eager for “more” out of life. It didn’t take much convincing for them to start looking for a van to convert. Once they got the rig, they spent two years building it out, since they had no prior building experience (and very few tools).
The design inside is awesome, with a fixed bathroom space, a long-ways bed, and a separate dinette for meals and work. They have a functional kitchen space and the entire interior is clad with gorgeous cedar wood. What’s your favorite feature of this home?

Lance sold everything he owned on Facebook Marketplace when he decided he was tired of the 9 to 5 and ready for a new adventure! He built a DIY camper on the back of his truck and spent only $5k on the materials. He was careful to buy things second-hand and at the Dollar Tree in order to keep costs down.
You can see his whole conversion on Instagram, where he shared all the details. He has a fixed bed, a micro kitchen, and lots of beautiful artwork he did himself! He makes money helping others make their own rigs and teaching the occasional art class.

Spring Mountain Tiny Homes in Layton, Utah has a beautiful new 22-foot tiny home for sale, called the “Flagship.” While the exterior of the tiny house has a more rustic farmhouse feel, the interior is bright and white, making it feel open!
There’s a nice living room area where you can put a regular couch, and the carpeted loft has a “big step” at the end where you can stand upright. Simone jumped into van life a few years ago and built out her own rig while working as a photographer. She and her husband, however, recently bought a home and are selling the van, but her work still requires some travel. Enter Boho Vans! She rented this great rig to attend a van gathering.
