Artists Cora and Jose didn’t just create an epic skoolie conversion for their own use, they made it with a mission in mind! Travel 30,000 miles across the Americas sharing art wherever they go! They’ve taught classes, painted murals, and shared their artistic abilities while on the road.
They even built their bus with extra guest beds in case an artist wants to travel with them for a month or so at a time and join in the art-sharing. They call the project, “Art We There Yet?”

We’ve been seeing more and more couples and families choose RV conversions for great temporary housing to allow them to travel and save money for a future home. This “temporary tiny” is a great way to learn to live with less and to help people reach their financial goals. Caroline and husband, Daniel, did an amazing job on their 5th wheel conversion!
They were able to buy their RV from the original owners, and then spend about 5 weeks of full-time renovations. While they were previously working seasonally and travelling, they’re now looking for more permanent work and Caroline is growing her photography business.

Today I want to introduce you to Korallus Tiny Homes, a new tiny house builder in Southwest Colorado. The couple who runs the business has 15 years of construction background, and recently completed “Bella,” their flagship tiny house with farmhouse flair.
The 28 foot tiny house is currently for sale, featuring a live-edge desk, built-in couch, and large bathroom! A retro refrigerator adds lots of character to the kitchen area, and just wait until you see the shower stall. There are two lofts, one fits a queen, and the other a king-sized mattress.

I love seeing what people can do with little-to-no experience and a tight budget! Young couple Jason and Taylor spent just $15,000 creating their awesome skoolie home, and neither of them had much of any building experience.
Taylor admits Jason did most of the build himself, and wow he did a great job! YouTube tutorials and lots of research helped through each step of the way, and the finished product is a bright and airy home.

BlackHawk and Madi took this Ford Transit van with two sliding doors and transformed it into one of the loveliest van conversions I’ve seen, complete with a shower and toilet (no gym membership required!).
They’ve enjoyed traveling the country in it, and are on to another adventure, and are now selling the gorgeous conversion (you can make an offer by sending a DM on Instagram here).
The interior has sleek black cabinets, hexagon tiles, a nearly-queen bed, and two swivel chairs for hanging out. There’s a Dometic fridge that slides out from under the bed, as well as super-long drawers for clothing storage. A few defining features of their bus are the huge roof-top deck, a guitar amp key holder, and awesome chalkboard walls. They even have granite countertops in their bus — wow!

Leila got a wake-up call when she was diagnosed with cancer a year and a half ago. It was then that she and her husband Trevor decided they needed to get out there and travel instead of running the rat race in Southern California.
Both of them work remotely as real estate agents, and Trevor runs a YouTube channel helping agents create great videos of the homes they want to sell. They purchased a vandalized toy hauler and transformed it into an amazing home on wheels, complete with a huge home office!
They travel with their 21-year-old daughter with special needs, and the three of them are loving their home on wheels. Leila worked hard to make sure nothing in the RV felt like an RV, and you’ll see from the tour with Tiny Home Tours below!

Now here’s something you don’t see everyday. This couple bought and converted a M1087fmtv (a military vehicle) into their tiny house on wheels — it’s the only vehicle of its kind in civilian possession (at the time of publication). And it’s incredible!
The slide-outs give them 14 feet of width inside, and they installed an amazing electric elevator bed so there’s no climbing or stairs. They chose a sparse, industrial decor inside, but it’s exactly what they wanted and fits their personalities. They didn’t sacrifice on a bathroom either — they have a large standing shower and a toilet.
They chose this vehicle because it can go where RVs can’t, and they are enjoying living fulltime going to hard-to-drive locations and seeing nature. Check out the full video tour from Tiny Home Tours below.
