Here’s another amazing couple traveling from Alaska to Argentina in their van! Their Panamerican travels are a way to spend more time together and less time traveling away from each other due to work commitments. They quit their jobs and bought a van that had already been built by another DIYer.
Their rig has a nice swivel chair and living room/dinette area, along with a fixed bed in the back of the van. There’s a little shower/toilet area in the middle of the van. They want to upgrade the lighting inside, but they’re already in Mexico and appreciating this journey.

Shelby and Shane were working long hours and just barely able to make ends meet, so they decided it was time to make a change. They found this box truck already converted by a couple who decided to settle down, and jumped at the opportunity. While they miss things like an oven to cook in, they are happy with their newfound financial freedom.
The increase in free time has allowed Shelby to start an embroidered bracelet business, and Shane works part-time doing a normal job and has also dabbled in spoon carving! Great for them! Enjoy the tour below.

This awesome family of five finished their bus conversion in February 2023, and have spent the cold winter months on the road. They can return to their home base in Central NY during the summer, where they work and save up money again for another long-term trip.

This family has been living tiny now since 2019, first in a 40-foot RV and now in a 27-foot Airstream. They purchased the Airstream from a client for a price they couldn’t refuse. It was totally gutted which allowed the family to create a tiny house that perfectly met the needs of their family.
They have an epic coffee station, full twin-sized bunks for the kids, and a full queen bed that doubles as the couch in the main part of the house. There’s also a nice bathroom with a composting toilet and shower. Let us know your favorite part.

Justin has lived somewhat nomadically for 18 years, originally backpacking around. Eventually, he decided a rig would be a more comfortable way of living tiny, and he built a couple of skoolies before settling down in “The Mega Date.”
This amazing transit bus conversion has a huge soaking tub right next to the bed — an unexpected luxury! He also has a cool potbelly stove and some awesome live-edge as a table and coffee table. Enjoy the tour.

While it’s not tiny, this magical A-frame is an incredible work of alternative living art! Designed as a vacation cabin for family gatherings and reunions, it can sleep up to 10 people, including four people up in the topmost portion of the home, surrounded by glass.

This is a beautiful 24×10 tiny home, “The Georgia,” by Kaiser Tiny Homes in Kansas, which features two loft bedrooms. The downstairs area has a spacious living area with a table and electric fireplace, as well as a kitchenette and 3/4 bathroom.

While plenty of people travel in their vans, not too many have a specific multi-year route mapped out. But in the case of Jess & Roberto, they are going from Alaska to Argentina! They thought it would take them a couple of years, but as they get used to a slow travel pace, they realize it might take 3 or more.
Neither of them had any previous experience in trades or building anything. They worked desk jobs, but they figured out how to convert their van on their own, and now they support themselves with their YouTube channel. Unlike many rigs, their bed is in the front of the van — check it out!
