Josh lost his beloved dog in 2020, and started reevaluating his life and goals. He found out about vanlife on TikTok and within four months he had sold his house and gone to pick up the van he had built by a professional to meet his needs. Since then, he’s been traveling with a group of vanlifers called “Kift,” searching for other “giraffes among zebras” like himself.
His van features a fixed bed, a beautiful built-in kitchen space with a toaster oven, a porthole, and a dining area with a swivel table. There’s lots of garage space underneath the bed for storing his tools, toys and snorkeling gear. Enjoy the tour!

Steve, Erin and their four children made a major lifestyle change after their oldest son asked if his dad didn’t love him because he was always working at the family business. They purchased a camper to spend weekends together and went some place local every single weekend! When they saw families in Florida living full-time in their RVs, they decided, why not them.

Elizabeth suggested vanlife to Destiny as a joke, but before they knew it, the couple was leaving regular 9-5 city life behind and jumping into converting a van. Neither of them had a lot of experience, but you’d never know looking at their gorgeous home on wheels.
I love that they chose a round table-top — even though it takes up space, there are no sharp edges to bump into. They also put an oven in their van, which is on the rarer side. They also fit a fixed bed and a couch inside — so spacious!
