So here’s how I would convert a (long) van for full-time living and traveling: On one side of the van would be a small kitchen – apartment fridge, sink, microwave, no stove/oven; a small nook next to it with a desk for a work area; the other side, opposite the kitchen, would have a day bed with bed curtains that would surround the bed, thus forming a cozy bedroom; and the back part of the van would consist of a bathroom – shower on one side, enclosed incinerating toilet on the other. Too many converted vans either have a tiny shower/toilet combination, or no bathroom at all. I couldn’t stand that. JMHO.
